Casa Casquet is a quaint 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa sleeping 7/8. All rooms and accommodation are on ground level. The living room, dining room and master bedroom are air conditioned to help with the summer heat, and a log burning stove provides a warm focus during winter months. The fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, and a washing machine is to be found in the adjoining utility room. TV, CD, DVD and iPod players are provided.

Outside, the villa is surrounded by mature hedges creating a private and secure environment. The main outdoor area faces south, and it is here you can enjoy outdoor living at it's best, whether it is in (or lounging beside) the pool, or escaping to the shade of the patio for lunch or a siesta. A BBQ area is situated at the side of the villa.

A loyalty rewards programme is in operation for our regular guests, and we are always happy to discuss special terms for long-term lets or last-minute bookings.

Casa Casquet is a delightful private villa, set 150 metres along a quiet lane from the unspoiled sandy beach of Saladillo. The residential area of El Saladillo is one of the longest established on the coast, and as a result is a peaceful haven not blighted by high rise buildings or plagued with crowds.

El Saladillo is roughly 10 minutes drive from Estepona (West) and 15 minutes from Marbella (East), and is approximately 45 minutes by car from the nearest airport at Malaga.

The villa is ideally situated for anyone who enjoys a lazy beach holiday, golf (there are any number of tremendous courses locally including Finca Cortesin home of the Volvo World Matchplay and Valderrama of Ryder Cup fame), excellent restaurants (including some great chiringuito's a short walk along the beach), tennis, horse riding, water-sports, dolphin & whale watching, Selwo 'safari', swimming (the villa has it's own heated pool), or as a base to explore the region including the famous Pueblos Blancos.

My family and I were guests in July 2010. The location is great for families with children because it is in a quiet residential area, very close to the beach.

The kids enjoyed the sea on most days, and if they weren't on the beach they tended to be in the pool.

We made use of the tennis club at Belair - the coaching was very good and they were most welcoming.

We'll be back.

Great for golf

A fourball of us stayed at Casa Casquet last May. The villa is very comfortable, and really convenient to some top courses and excellent restaurants. The poolside was great for enjoying an apres-golf bottle of rose.
