The house was constructed in the year 2006 respecting the typical architecture of the land. A great terrace with a private garden is the ideal place to enjoy holidays of your dreams. In the very agreeable garden, equipped with an ideal barbecue, tables and chairs to eat out and to enjoy the fresh air from the mountains. The house has the capacity for 6 persons. The house have three rooms, one with a double bed and the two remaining ones with two individual beds. The kitchen is fully equipped (vitroceramic stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher), a comfortable lounge - dining room with a chimney and two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other one with a hydro massage bathtub. It has bed linen and towels, as well as a cot.

It takes only half an hour to visit Salamanca, an excellent university city, well known for its artistic wealth, cathedrals, palaces, churches… Those who love skiing will find the station of La Covatilla, the mountain range of Bejar, only 49 kms away. The nature reserve of the Batuecas. Steep mountains in which a beautiful forest of Mediterranean character is located. A place where interesting species of the Iberian fauna, such as the goat montesa, deer, jabalíes and roe-deer have found refuge. You’ll enjoy discovering the beautiful villages, such as La Alberca, Mogarraz; Ciudad Rodrigo and its exhibition of Las Edades Del Hombre, (the Ages Of The Man 2006); San Martín del Castañar, Villanueva del Conde, Sotoserrano. Visiting The Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de la Sierra de Francia, will take you back to the Middle Ages.

High quality property in rural location

Property was everything we expected and more. Elena was very helpful and responded postively to the suggestions we offered. At the time we went (September 07) it was very new and somewhat lacking in kitchen utensils but this did not spoil things. There are several lovely drives and Salamanca is a fascinating city. We would happily recommend to anyone seeking a rural retreat in a part of Spain rarely visited by the English. We did not try any local restaurants as they were a bit further than we would regard as a gentle walk but the local shops had a good selection of fresh food.

Teso de las Corzas is a very comfortable and agreeable cottage in a very quiet and beautiful environment.From the house you can go for a walk. But also you can make beautiful trips by car in the Sierra de Francia with her lovely and different places and villages.It is also possible to go by car to Salamanca and Ciudad Rodrigo which are beautiful cities to visit.
