A spacious self catering ground floor apartment on the Costa Blanca. The property is situated in a beautiful position on La Finca golf course, which can be found in the countryside near Torrevieja. The terrace and private garden provide spectacular uninterrupted views towards the sea while the communal pool is right outside the front door. The accommodation includes a well equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment also benefits from air conditioning in all rooms, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, satellite TV and DVD player.

The property is located on La Finca Golf Course, which is easily accessed from Alicante and Murcia airports, both approximately 45 minutes drive away. From the UK, flights are operated by RyanAir, EasyJet, British Airways, Monarch, Flybe, ThomsonFly and Jet2. Banks, shops and restaurants can be found within La Finca, a few minutes walk from the property and regular markets can be found in the surrounding villages. As well as the top class golf of La Finca on your doorstep, a selection of other golf courses are found within driving distance, including Villamartin, Las Ramblas and the famous La Manga Club. For non-golfers, the beaches of the Costa Blanca are easily accessible, the closest being the blue flag beaches of Guardamar, an easy 20 minutes away. Bars and restaurants can also be found there. The larger town of Torrevieja provides a wide range of facilities, including shopping, beaches, a water park, museums and of course a selection of bars and restaurants.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are for the property, not per person and include towels and bed linen (please bring own pool/beach towels).
    A 50% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to holiday.
    A refundable damage deposit of £100 is required with the balance.
  • A cleaning charge of 35 Euros + 8 Euros per person will be required on departure (eg A total of 67 Euros for 4 people).
    For arrivals between 8pm and 9am, a charge of 20 Euros will be applied.
  • Airport transfers can be arranged if required (30 Euros for Murcia, 40 Euros for Alicante).
    A grocery welcome pack can be provided for your arrival at an additional 20 Euros.

Golf: La Finca Golf is a top class 18 hole, par 72 course designed by Pepe Gancedo. It opened in 2002 and has its sights set firmly on hosting the Spanish Open and Ryder Cup competitions. The course is relatively long (6394m) with lush green fairways, plenty of water and immaculate greens. There are several other courses nearby such as Villamrtin, Las Ramblas, Compoamor, La Marquesa and the famous La Manga, but playing La Finca is a must for any golfer visiting the Costa Blanca.

We have just returned from a fabulous 8 days in Algorfa at the La Finca resort and it's got to be one of the best holidays we've had.

The pool was just outside our front door so we just needed our towels and chairs so very convenient especially as we have a six year old daughter who spends the entire day in the pool. For younger children the complex also had a baby pool. The aircon was also an added bonus as it was around 35 degrees most days.

We didn't have far to go to either top up our suntan lotion or to get make our lunch. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need including a large fridge/freezer and cooker/hob. You were able to watch english television as well as some other freeview channels and it was also equipped with a DVD player which is very useful when you have children.

We did find the local restaurants and bars very friendly and not overly expensive when either eating or just going for a drink.

I would highly recommend a hire car as you will need this to get to the supermarkets and to see other towns or villages.

I believe that the owners are intending on getting some sun loungers as this was the only thing lacking but we went out a bought 3 lilos for 3 euros each which was sufficient.

Would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family as well as anyone who reads this review.

We will definitely be returning in the future.

La Finca

I was familiar with the complex as friends own a property very close to this apartment. I have a 6 and 2 year old and found the accommodation to be excellent. The location of the apartment on the ground floor and adjacent to the pool was invaluable as a parent, often one child was playing in the pool whilst the other was resting in the apartment.
La finca is still developing so is not the finished article yet but there are still enough established bars and shops.
Each part of the complex is secure and seperate from its neighbours, so only the local guests get to use the relevant pool.
So overall safe, secure and of a good standard.

La Finca GolfCourse at Algorfa

We stayed at this apartment in August and it lived up to expectations. The spec was top class and everything that you need for a pleasant stay was in place. The use of the washing machine/dryer was useful and the Air conditioning was a definate advantage as temp was in the 40s. Swimming pool literally outside our front door. Lovely view from our back garden and can see the coast and the Las Salinas. Urbanisation primarily British and very friendly and helpful. Only sorry had to curtail our hols due to car problems. Hopefully will return again and explore local area. Certainly will recommend to friends.

Fantastic!

This was the perfect apartment for us with 3 young children as the beautiful pool is right outside the front door and the kitchen looks over the pool as well. We were really pleased with the view as this was better than the description explained! Air conditioners were in every room but the breezes were lovely and with gorgeous french windows and large balcony windows we didn't always need them. The terrace looking towards the view lead to a lawned garden which was excellent to put the children when wet as this was accessed around the side from the pool - a great bonus (no wet children messing up apartment!) We really liked the security of this gated complex which included secure gated parking. We hired a car as we wanted to be able to visit the local beaches which were great - particularly enjoyed La Zenia with its rocky cove - but our children complained at being dragged away from the pool so in reality we could have coped without the car. Great little supermarket 100m down the road for fresh baguettes. Town of Quesada was lovely for cafes/bars/banks and only a 5 minute drive down the hill. Al in all, this holiday was better than expected due to the high quality of the apartment and it was lovely being met by the managers who were really helpful. Also, Darren the owner was great at responding quickly to our questions prior to our journey. Loved it!

A very enjoyable holiday

The La Finca Urbanisation is only a few years old and is still growing, although this does not impact on the location of this apartment. However, there are relatively few amenities and choices for a night out.

The Urbanisation is divided into discrete and well secured local residencias, which keeps out unwanted visitors but can be awkward if your children become friendly with kids from a different area, and want to spend time with them.

On the whole I would recommend this location to families with younger kids as there is nothing but the pool to keep them busy, older teenagers will find the night-life non-existant.

A car is essential not only for the transfers to/from the airport, but in order to maximise the various play parks, markets and beaches which are all around 10 miles from La Finca. I prefer to fly to Murcia airport which I find less of a hassle than Alicante as it is smaller and attracts fewer flights. The drive to La Finca takes about 40 mins.

The good news is for the golfers, La Finca GC is excellent and barely 5 mins from the urbanisation. If you decide to play this challenging venue be sure to advise the cashier that you are a resident, which attracts a very worthwhile discount.

This apartment is very well appointed and well managed, however with a large dining suite in the living area it can be pretty cramped at times. During our stay the temperature was in the high 90's and into 100's, so the aircon in each of the bedrooms and the sitting room was used regularly.

The apartment is about as close to the communal pool as you can get, the front steps are no more than 6 paces away from the water. This has good and bad points - great for the kids who are old enough to swim and who need minimal supervision but not so good if you have toddlers. The noise can also be a bit excessive - but this varies from day to day.
