'Akamas wild beauty is magnificent. You can rent a boat and dive in the crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon,
or try a road trip in the picturesque villages of the surrounding area.Stop for traditional food and an incredible view
at the last castle in Viklari'
Dear Clive and Sue -Yesterday we returned safely from a wonderful holiday in Cyprus. We felt very comfortable in your beautiful house. We loved especially
the amazing views over the garden,to the mountains and from the top deck to the sea.We would be happy to come back soon, maybe in spring time during the blooming period.Thank you very much and all the best.
Ulrike and Roland (Germany )
Ps a very big thank you for the exact directions to the house.
During our e weeks tour through Cyprus we stayed in 3 apts/houses - this was by far the most comfortable and best equipped house in a very attractive lanscape.
The description and pictures in the lising are accurate. The hose was clean and very wll maintained. There is now a dishwasher. The number of satellite tv stations are quite limited. Wifi only at close by restaurants. Best beach by Lahte 15 min by car.
It`s an ideal place to explore in the morning the west of Cyprus: Akamas peninsula, Paphos, Vouoni and Soloi in the turkish part and to swim in the afternoon. Even 1 day excursions to the Troodos mountains or to Nicosia or Kyrenia are possible.
This was our first time in Cyprus and we couldn't have asked for more! The apartment was comfortable and in good location to the beach and surrounding towns. The roof top terrace was lovely to sit in the evenings and relax. The apartment had everything we needed. Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday! We will certainly be back again.
We had a brilliant holiday in Cyprus and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your gorgeous house. Equipped with everything one could ask for and loved eating out on the ground floor terrace and the roof garden. Beautiful location and so easy access to all the sights nearby. Would strongly recommend a stay here!!
We had the most amazing week at Clive&Sues Villa. The Pictures didnt do it justice!!
Thanks for a wonderful stay and cannot wait to come back again
Stayed here for two weeks. from end of June.
Can't say enough about it -it really is a lovely place!
The owners have it really nice and very clean and the area is beautiful.
You are only minutes from the sea .Some really nice tavernas and Latchi harbour
is only a short drive .You have the marina with boats and restaurants there.
Can recommend the glass-bottom boat trip to the blue Lagoon.Lovely clear water.
The views from the back of this house are something else.We went to the other side
of the island last year and I would say this area is much much better! There are two pools here
with comfy sunloungers and it was really nice and quiet.Highly recommed for couples looking
for a really relaxing break.
Thankyou for a wonderful holiday and I think we may book again for next year!

I highly recommend this villa especially for couples looking for a quiet getaway.
The villa is set on a small development set up in the hills above Argaka village. This is a quiet area - the nearest town of size is Polis, about 10 mins in the car. There are plenty of tavernas but little nightlife. For that you need to go into Pafos, which is about 30 mins in the car - so one of you will have to drive!
The villa itself is beautifully furnished with a lot of homely touches (paintings, including some by the owners; plenty of lamps, cushions, candles; DVD player and a small selection of DVDs; books.
We spent several mornings up on the roof terrace, which has wonderful views across to the mountains, having breakfast and sunbathing. The rear garden is also very pleasant for sitting out and eating or drinking.
As it was March we found the evenings quite cold, so were glad of the efficient heating.
The kitchen is well laid out with a very good cooker. The only thing I could have wished for was a dishwasher - but that's just laziness!
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming here again.
Argaka is an inland village set in an elevated position overlooking Chrysochous Bay and the Akamas mountains.
It is approximately 6 km from the quaint historic town of Polis which is approximately 35 km from Paphos.
This area of western Cyprus enjoys a staggering 340 days of sunshine a year. Cyprus is regarded as a 'year round Island' so the temperatures are very pleasant even in winter rarely dropping below 18 degrees.
The Polis and Latchi area also benefits from cooling coastal breezes so in summer months the temperature
is not as hot as places like the capital Nicosia which is positioned inland. There are many things to do locally such as lovely walks through pine forests to see irrigation dams/long walks along uncrowned beaches only minutes away. The fishing harbour of Pomos with its renowned sea food taverna is also a short drive away. As is Latchi
with its picturesque marina and harbour front restaurants. This area is also renowned for its local wine.
Quiet beaches nearby
Golf: Cyprus currently has numerous golf courses.
A new course(Elea) has just opened in Paphos designed by Nick Faldo.
The nearest course is at Tsada (MInthisshills) approx half-hour drive. Also its sister course -Secret Valley
is only approximately 15 minutes from Paphos
A Jack Nicholas designed course is to be built soon approx 2 km away from the House in Argaka at the new Limni.
