In a National Park these brand newly converted four 17th century barns nestled on a south facing mountain slope above a tumbling river and sheltered by a magnificent chestnut forest. Accessed by a winding mountain road above the famous historical walled mountain town of Barga with its narrow winding streets, galleries, restaurants and antiques. It is within easy driving (or train if you prefer) distance of the classical Tuscan cities of Lucca (35Km). Pisa (65Km) and Florence (90Km). Nearer to hand is the old spa town of Bagni di Lucca and a wealth of small mountain towns each with their own character and attractions. In the winter you can ski at Abetone, an hour's drive away, and in the summer treat yourself to a day on the immaculate beaches around Viareggio, also about an hours drive away. You are in the centre of Tuscany and immersed in its lifestyle and culture.
Access is frequent and easy through Pisa Airport which has scheduled and economy flights available.
