This beautiful apartment is built on the side of our house, it has its own entrance, front door and sliding terrace doors onto a terrace with table and chairs for eating outside. The views are amazing and the sunsets too. There are sunbeds and cushions as well. The pool is heated and has a shallow end. In the months from April to October the temperature is no less than 25 degrees, usually more because of the pool heater and the constant sunshine, in the winter months it is slightly less at around 23 degrees. The house is situated at the top of the hill and is at the end of the road so there is no passing traffic. The road to the villa is a good tarmac road. It is very quiet and is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. It is well situated for seeing the island with beaches both sides of the island easily reached by car. A car is necessary but they are reasonable to hire. We can arrange that for you if you require it. A basic welcome pack will be in the apartment on your arrival.
The property has Wi-Fi installled.
Me and my husband live in Casa Veronica, and on the side of the house we have built this beautiful apartment for other people to visit this fantastic island at a very affordable price. We have made lots of lovely friends by doing this. If guests want total privacy they have it, if they want to talk to us we are right next door. If they are dog lovers we have a little Pug who is so friendly you would love to see him, but if you don't like dogs then he keeps out of the way. He is so clever he knows how to behave.
I sell insurance to the ex pats, and my husband is a retired singer. I lost both my sons in recent years, so life has been very hard, but with the help of all my lovely friends I have managed to carry on although life will never be the same again.
Brian is my second husband, we have been married for 22 years, I met him on the island at a gig where he was singing. Can't resist a good voice. We got married in Las Vegas at the White Lace & Promises Wedding Chapel.
I was born is Shropshire, but lived in Bedfordshire for 17 years before conming here, Brian is from Stoke on Trent.
I bought this property because of the amazing views and the very quiet location, this is the last house so no passing traffic at all.
The most amazing thing about the house is the incredible view of the island, you can watch the cruise ships come in and out, or marvel at the scenery and the sunsets, peaceful and relaxing.
The apartment is situated high up with spectacular views. The famous Teguise Sunday Market is only five minutes away, or a pleasant 20 minute walk. In Teguise there are cobbled streets, and plenty of bars and restaurants. There is a restaurant two minutes away which is a big attraction as it used to belong to Omar Shariff. His house is open to the public. There are other lovely restaurants close by.The beaches of Famara are fifteen minutes away by car, also Costa Teguise is a busy coastal resort again only fifteen minutes away. Puerto del Carmen in the South is about 25 minutes away, this is the busiest resort on the island, with the front a mass of shops and restaurants. Places to see are abundant, the Fire Mountain, Caves, Rancho Texas, and many others. The roads are very good and the island is very small 40 miles from East to West and 16 miles from North to South. There is a supermarket locally or you can go to the large Spa supermarket which is only ten minutes away by car.
Golf: There is a Golf Course about 10 minutes away by car and another one about 30 minutes by car. You do not have to be a member to play on either of these courses.
