These apartments are in a newly renovated waterfront villa located in Venice's historic center on the famous island of Murano. It is situated along the bank (Fond. Venier) and faces the Grand Canal of Murano, one of the main and most romantic water channels of the Venetian lagoon. It offers not only a splendid view but also a variety of unforgettable sensations. In particular, it offers silence and a peacefulness that belongs to a place without time, marked by the pleasant sound of nearby church bells. Ca'Mazzega is a refuge where you can relax and enjoy Murano's tranquillity after a full day of sightseeing. We are convinced that after your stay at Ca'Mazzega you will look forward to coming back. Adjacent to the house is the 'Venier' public boat stop which conveniently takes you directly to the train station and S. Marco every 10 min. -avoiding to carry luggage

The main entrance to Ca'Mazzzega, located along the bank, gives private access to Apartment Fornace thus offering maximum security and privacy. This elegant apartment located on the first floor offers comfort and secluded privacy in 60 square metres (650 square feet), accommodating a minimum of two and a maximum of 5 people. It features a spacious living/dining area overlooking the canal, with a double sofa-bed, fully equipped cooking facilities and exposed wood beam ceiling. There is also a studio with a single sofa-bed, a lovely new bathroom, as well as, a large elegant master bedroom. From the bedroom there is access to a beautiful private patio, ideal for relaxing. The furnishing is typically Venetian with some antiques, prints and glass chandeliers from Murano.

  • Down payment & Safety deposit -
    We require a down payment equivalent to 10% of the total value of your reservation. Upon arrival a 200 euro safety deposit will be required. The safety deposit will be returned upon departure after the apartment has been checked to make sure its ok! The remaining amount due should be paid upon arrival preferably in cash.

    Reservation Confirmation - The acceptance of the reservation is subject to: - the payment of a deposit as a down payment (equivalent to 10% of the total value) - the authorisation for eventual debits of other amounts foreseen in the case of late cancellation. see Cancellation Policy.

    Cancellation Policy -
    In the event of cancellation you will lose your deposit of 10%. Guests will not have the right to any reimbursement if they voluntarily interrupt their stay and leave before the established departure date.
  • Payment and Bank Details -
    Once you have made your online reservation we require you to pay us 10% down payment of the total value of your reservation. This should be paid in the following manner: -Money transfer with Paypal -Using credit card (press button on our website Buy now) -Bank transfer (expenses to be paid by the client).


    The reservation is confirmed only after a confirmation email or Ca'Mazzega receives a copy of the bank transfer by fax (+ 39 -06-33269210). The balance of the entire stay it is preferable to be paid in cash at arrival when receiving the keys. The price of the stay for the required period is that shown by Ca'Mazzega in the written reservation confirmation.
  • Services -
    Apart from the apartment which is completely furnished and equipped, the price includes the following services: reception from 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, initial and final cleaning, weekly change of bed linen and towels (an extra charge of 16,00 euro for a complete change of bed linen and towels per person before the end of the week). In low season, there is an extra charge of 50 Euro for final cleaning. Gas, water and electricity consumptions are included in the price of the apartment. The guest will have no reimbursement for the suspension of gas, water or electricity if not depending on the owner. The price does not include transfer to and from the station, airport or other terminal. All the prices shown are in Euros.

Superb apartment!

Very friendly service - nicely decorated, very spacious for 2. Easy to find from directions. The downside to staying on Murano is the travelling time on the water taxi, but my wife and i thoroughly enjoyed the whole venice experience. There's also a couple of supermarkets within 5-10 mins walking distance. Great price and had a great time!
Owner's Response: We are extremely pleased that our guests enjoy our apartments and Murano as well. In Venice, boats are the only means of transportation and part of the Venetian experience. Murano is part of the historic center of Venice. In only a few minutes by boat, you can escape from the main tourist areas in Venice and enjoy a charming island and a memorable vacation.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Murano

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und perfekt eingerichtet. Wir genossen den Aufenthalt und die Ruhe nach den Besichtigungen in Venedig. Nach so viel Sehenswürdigkeiten und Touristen ist es wunderbar in Murano ein schönes ruhiges Appartement zu haben. Murano ist auch sehr schön und sehr authentisch. Die Wohnungen von Ca`Mazzega sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Betreuung ist sehr sympathisch.

Great Stay in Venice

We stayed in Laguna in late May and had a great visit. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, including good air conditioning. We really enjoyed being close to Venice but not in the middle of all the tourist scene. It was wonderful to come back each evening to the calm of Murano and the apartment overlooking a quiet canal. It has the atmosphere of Venice without the noise and throngs of people. The grocery is conveniently located close by if you decide to eat in. Restaurants are limited on Murano. The boat stop is just a few steps away from the apartment. Allow at least 30 to 45 minutes for the boat trip from Murano to your stop in Venice. We would happily stay here again if/when we return to Venice. Thanks Claudia!

Peaceful time at ca'mazzega

We found the island of Murano very peaceful and an ideal contrast to the hubbub of Venice. Whilst it took about half an hour to get to the island from the main water bus station - the journey was very exciting. The apartment was very clean and neat and just as the images on the website. Lucia did not speak english but we managed to sort ourselves and the family enjoyed the comfortable beds/sofabed. The little shop next door had everything we needed for our stay. The patio was delightful for taking a break or listening to the church bells whilst reading a book. There were not many restaurants but that was fine - the locals were very kind and pointed us to the available one! A smart apartment on a smart and elegant island.
