It's like living at the top of the hill in a modern and romantic castle. The villa stands at the top of the hill with stunning unspoiled views 360ª all over Praia Verde and also across the Guadiana River… is Spain! If you like to walk you can do so around the plot (30.000 m2) and never leave the the villa and see the difference between a fig and a carob tree. The furnishings of the villa the theme is ethnic. The villa has lots of colourful cushions, objects, candles, glass, baskets, pictures hanging on the walls with photographs taken by the owner all over the world. Panoramic sun terrace on top with spectacular wooden terrace next to pool . Because of the big garden the location of the villa and enclosure the property offers a lot of privacy and the advantages of a calm holiday with green, space, gardens, pool, views.

Location only 40 minutes drive from Faro Airport.A few minutes drive will take you to the nearest long sandy beaches. Swimming, golf, tennis, riding, cycling, walking, etc etc are some of the many things to do. Monte Gordo or Vilamoura are the nearest resorts only minutes away by car with marinas, shops, cafes, restaurants, and night life.

18 hole golf course 2 minutes away. Monte Francisc: Vila Salix with great views and just 2 minutes away from Monte Francisco golf course with 18 holes. with great views of the sea and in the evening thousand lights of Praia Verde and Monte Gordo and further away...Spain. Or take a tour along the Guadiana River to Alcoutim or Beja. About 30 to 60 minutes drive you are in the middle of cities that offer the most romantic feel you can imagine. Great restaurants and delicious home cooking food. Any dish with lamb is a must. Some local restaurants will have as well fish from the river such as eel. They make tasty boillabaisse in a wine broth with coriander and is a bit spicy but is really unforgettable.

Cheap flights available from many airports to Faro , Lisbon or Seville,from airlines such as BA, TAP, Easyjet, Monarch, Flybe, Thomsonfly, Jet2. Tavira is 30 minutes drive on the motorway from Faro airport. Easy to follow instructions are sent with every reservation

Stunning villa away from it all

The photos really do not do this place justice. The main living area has 18 foot ceilings and the facade is made entirely of glass with a lovely view of the coast! There are a few very minor niggles, including the main road that can be heard (only just), but overall this is a beautiful property well off the beaten track for those looking for peace and quiet away from the touristy areas.

Away From The Crowds!

Situated on a hilltop with a long sweeping drive this house is pure heaven. With beautiful views, you can enjoy a relaxing, peaceful holiday away from the crowds. The pictures do not do the villa justice, a nice large kitchen, sweeps through to an open plan dining area and spectacular lounge with full height window. A long corridor takes you down to the master bedroom passing two other double bedrooms and more wardrobe space than you would imagine. All bedrooms open onto a beautiful pool area with views across to Spain.
With the beach less than 10mins drive, Spain only 15 mins you are ideally situated. For golfers this is an excellent location with three excellent courses nearby and only 20mins from the outstanding Monte Rei.
This house is really a must for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy peace and tranquility!

Beautifully appointed villa in a stunning hilltop location, with panoramic views to the Atlantic Ocean, Spain and the surrounding countryside.
Beach, restaurants, shops etc., within easy reach by car / bicycle, should you be able to drag yourself away from the villa!
The perfect location for those seeking tranquility, yet conveniently situated for those wishing to explore.
