The house is south facing waterfront, on a private and tranquil 2 acre meadow with visiting deer and pheasant. Enjoy sunrise and sunset on the verandah overlooking the Bay's clear water. Five minute drive to Lunenburg’s restaurants, shops, museums and golf club. Enjoy the history of the town founded in 1753. A visit to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic or a sail on Bluenose ll when in port are a must. Rent a fishing boat at the harbour 5 minutes away. Scenic drives along the coast to seaside towns such as Peggy's Cove, Chester and Annapolis Royale. Sandy beaches, sailing and fishing. Tall Ships 2009 International gathering of world class Tall ships July 16 to 29 2009, in Halifax and visiting Lunenburg! Lunenburg is the best surviving example of a planned British colonial settlement in North America. Established in 1753, it has retained its original layout and overall appearance, based on a rectangular grid pattern drawn up in the home country. The inhabitants have managed to safeguard the city's identity throughout the centuries by preserving the wooden architecture of the houses some of which date from the 18th century. There are some 400 major buildings within the old town, 70 percent of them from the 18th and 19th centuries, almost all of them wood, and many colourfully painted.

  • Our rates are based on Friday-Friday rental in the summer season but we aim to be as flexible as possible subject to availability, should you wish to arrive on a different day. We also offer short or long term rentals in the 'off season' and on a 'last minute' basis whenever the house is available. Normal arrival time is after 4pm with an 11am departure. A $500. Canadian refundable damage deposit is required upon booking.All rental fees must be paid 90 days prior to rental date.

Lunenburg Golf Club is a 10 minute walk from the farmhouse. Overlooking the scenic and historical home of the schooner Bluenose ll and other tall ships, the Bluenose Golf Club was opened in 1933 and offers picturesque views of the town or water from each hole. Facilities include a clubhouse, putting green, driving range, pro shop and more. Semi-Private, 9 holes, Par 35 Amazing sandy beaches abound: Crescent Beach,Carter Beach, Hirtles Beach, Queensland Beach and Summerville Beach are just a few. .
