The apartment is located about 3.5 km from the sea in a conservation area with sea views and is surrounded by an olive grove with Mediterranean vegetation. In the region lying below the house there are beautiful coastal town of San Pietro, miles of sandy beaches with crystal clear water, interspersed with dunes and bays. The sea is gently sloping and therefore well suited for children. Here you will find numerous restaurants, cafes and shops for daily needs. In the surrounding, typical southern Italian towns with interesting historic town centers, such as Marrugio, Manduria, Avetrana, Oria, you can shop at the weekly markets cheap fresh food and stroll through the narrow town roads. In the trattorias you get more affordable menus, individual pizzas and dishes. A special treat is a visit to a country lying on the farms (former typical Apulian farmhouse). This Masserias are restored and offer with its beautiful rooms and high ceilings tuff star a special ambience. Here you must try the Apulian Antipasti, a rich and imaginative appetizers with seafood, meat and vegetables in great variety, cold and warm, baked, stewed or marinated in olive oil. Other cities of interest are the baroque city of Lecce, the pottery town of Alberobello and Grottaglie, the World Heritage site Trullodorf. There in the property is located in Fasano Safari Zoo with a theme park.
