The town lies on the main road Göynük (D-400) between Antalya and Kemer and is divided into two areas. The town itself is located on the mountain side of the highway, while the hotels and the tourist shopping areas are on the ocean side. Between the hotel and the town beach has good swimming possibilities in which, through the sand / pebble beach, crystal clear water. It's not as steep in the water so that bathing children and non-swimmers can there. Due to its proximity to the hotels they able to make use every imaginable water sports favorable. A parasailing round overlooking Göynük to Antala and Kemer or ride the waves with the jet ski will never forget!
After Göynük is through the imposing much flagged gate. Links from the gate you just created next to the main road a tea garden with small shaded pavilion, flower beds and fountains. Here you can sit, drink tea, palaver and the rushing traffic watch.
In the center there is a large mosque with two minarets, which stretches mightily through existing mosques beyond. Every Friday around here, instead of the big-market Göynük (textiles, leather etc.) for tourists.
The actual weekly market of local fruit, vegetables and household goods can be found in the side streets right from the roundabout about 50m behind the new mayor. Here only a few stray tourists. But just wandering the streets and alleys off the new main roads worth it for those who learn to know something 'normal' Turkey and want to transform not only the landscaped promenade for tourists.
