This Gorgeous, Quiet and Peaceful location is perfect for winter visitors, summer vacations or Progress Energy engineers/technicians. Our complex only has 5 apartments, and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. We are the perfect place to escape the winter storms. Our five waterfront apartments are located on Hunter Springs in the quaint, historic district of Crystal River. THIS IS NOT A CANAL. Our beautiful, quiet spring-fed cove flows out to King's Bay. We still have manatees in the spring, and a few stay all summer. This gorgeous and peaceful location is the perfect place for your family's summer vacation. Come sit on our covered dock, sip your morning coffee, or fish, swim, snorkel or kayak right from our dock.
All rooms open to the waterfront courtyard, so there is plenty of room to lounge and soak up some sun, wash your fishing or diving gear, or have a barbeque, fish-fry or throw down. LIFE IS GOOD when you can bring in your freshly caught grouper and throw it on the grill for dinner. If you like to fish, bring your boat, and leave it in the water. There is no docking charge. During the summer our location is ideal for those scalloping, fishing, or diving trips with the whole family. If you live nearby then rent for 3 months and visit on the weekends. The fishing is unbelievable. You can freshwater fish for large mouth bass. You can go from our dock out to the Gulf of Mexico and fish for reds, trout, scallops or Grouper. Scalloping usually starts July 1st and runs through Labor Day. Check with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for up to date 2014 fishing regulations
Move in today! These waterfront, 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartments are fully furnished, have fully stocked kitchen, Satellite TV, Wireless high speed internet and a washer and dryer available. The apartment’s furnishings include: queen size bed, linens and a futon. Each kitchen comes completely stocked with a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The washer and dryer are NOT coin operated. The apartments are newly remodeled, and all units are smoke-free. Smoking allowed in the courtyard and the gazebo on the dock. Choose from our Captain's Suite, Lighthouse Suite, Royal Palm Suite, Flamingo Suite. All rooms open to our courtyard with shade or sun, picnic tables, charcoal grill, and it is surrounded by water.
Our location is 1 block away from Hunters Springs Park, in the historic district of the City of Crystal River. We are only 10 minutes to the Crystal River Nuclear Power Plant. You can walk or ride your bikes to mom and pop restaurants, antique shopping, kayak rentals or nature watching. Crystal River is about 2 hours north of Tampa on Hwy 19. In Crystal River there is a mall, numerous antique and local art shops, restaurants, wildlife preserves, and a state archaeological site with hiking trails. Minutes away is Homosassa State Park where you can view manatees through an underwater window. Also we are located within a short drive to several beautiful bike paths. See the links listed below.

We wanted a beautiful water front location where the boat traffic was minimal. It is not on a canal, but is tucked away in the bay of Hunter Springs run which is part of Kings bay.
You can swim with the manatees from our dock. Bring your boat, no extra charge.
