Water Activities.
The Lot and the Garonne rivers provide pleasure boating and attractive walks for holidaymakers and your accommodation is situated about ten minutes drive from the Lot river. The river rehabilitation program undertaken several years ago in the Lot-et-Garonne has opened up over 200 km of navigable waterways, one of the most extensive and pleasant river networks in Southern Europe. It is possible to take one or two hour boat trips with commentary on points of interest. Villeneuve has electric boats for hire and there are various places offering, Canoeing, Kayaking, water skiing, row boats and even hydroplanes (mini hovercrafts, suitable for both adults and children).
The area is a super place for anglers, with fishing permits available from Angling stores and a number of other places such as Tourist Offices and Tabacs. The local Anglers Federation publishes a comprehensive booklet each year on the rivers, the rules for the catch and the different seasons.

Theme Park
Walibi-Aquitaine
Distance from Valmar - 45km, approx 45 mins by car. Located just Northwest of Agen off the A62 and nestling in over 30 hectares of parkland, Walibi Aquitaine offers a fantastic fun-packed day out for all the family. Watched over by an 18th Century castle, is a world filled with pleasure, thrills and laughter, with roller coasters, water rides, spectacular shows and events that succeed each other throughout the day. For the very young there is the petit train, Walibiland and Baby Kangourou.
Open 7 days a week from the middle of June through to the end of August, and at weekends outside of this time.

For those that are older and enjoy more active pursuits, Quad bikes and motorcycles are available for hire along the main road to Villeneuve.

Parc-en-Ciel:
If you like climbing around, this is for you. There are five ropes courses in the trees, two small courses for children, and three progressively more difficult courses for adults. Harnesses and instruction are included. If climbing around is not your thing, you can enjoy a round of mini-golf. A small farm and snail museum are also attractions. A lovely rural location for taking your picnic along to. Situated at Lacapelle-Biron on the D420, north-west of Fumel. The park opens every day between 9am and 8pm throughout July and August, and at weekends at other times.

Horse Riding

Golf:
If you travel to “Valmar” from Bergerac airport, along the main N21 route, you will see Villeneuve- sur-lot golf and country club at Castelnaud-de-Gratecambe (on the left hand-side of the road), which is about a 20 minute drive from “Valmar”. This 18 hole championship golf course is a par 72, a good test of golf and includes very enjoyable and receptive greens. The course is very undulating with some spectacular views. There is a driving range and guests can benefit from golf lessons, buggy hire, the club house and excellent restaurant facilities. There is also a swimming pool and Tennis courts.
There is also a 9 hole course with practice area and pro shop at Tombeboeuf (a similar distance). Both courses have equipment for hire.
