Located on a beautiful beach facing the Gulf of Mexico, this unit is part of the Chateau Condominium, a 15-unit two story building in a small residential town that is not part of a noisy tourist section of Florida, yet is only a short distance to restaurants and excitement. Sand Key and Clearwater Beach are just north of here. Belleair Beach has completed a beach re-nourishment program and the beach is one of the nicest in Pinellas county.
This unit is on the second floor, facing east, with another sun balcony for relaxing.
The Condo gets morning sun, so it is cheery and sunny all morning and a little cooler in the heat of the afternoon, when it is nice to come back to the shade, after spending time in the bright sun by the pool and the beach.
The unit consists of a one bedroom and a combination kitchen/living room. The rooms are approximately 12 by 12 feet. The bedroom offers white rattan furniture and a brand new Simmons Beautyrest Pillow top queen-size bed with 600 count sheets and choice of pillows. Our new fully tiled bathroom features a Shower Body Panel Spa. The bedroom window has a view of the Gulf of Mexico and a park. At night you can hear the sound of the waves, as you fall asleep. During the day you get extra light and a really nice breeze throughout the rooms. New for 2011 is a 40 inch flat screen LCD Samsung HD TV. The free Wi-Fi connection is through Roadrunner. Just bring your laptop and you are all set to work at the window and watch the dolphins go by.
The unit is ideally sized for a couple. It sleeps only 2. No Smoking. No Pets.
Some of my past renters have posted directly, their reviews, on this site I have been please everyone gave my condo 5 Stars. But many found it easier just to sign my guest books in the condo before they left. Our father bought our condo and it has been in the family since 1980. In Aug 1985 my sister and I inherited the condo the same month that Hurricane Elena pounded our shores for 3 days. What a way to start ownership. Things have only gotten better since the shaky start. A special event was getting married by the gulf on our pool deck.
It’s always special for us to come over to spend a weekend by the water and my guests feel the same way. We love the beautiful beach and the long walks we can take. Sunsets are breath taking. It’s a special place for unwinding relaxing and meeting new friends. Having the gulf, pool and Tiki huts in our back yard is what a vacation is all about.
Since 2004 we have been replacing everything (floors, doors, windows, kitchen, complete tiled bathroom with a spa shower & furniture) in the condo to the finished present day modern remodeled unit.
I live locally and I take care of the condo after every rental. I know the place will be spotless.
The condo is not my business it’s my hobby. I’m always looking for things to improve or add. I want my guest to feel like they are visiting a loved one’s home. I offer all the conveniences’ they would receive from them. Please look over my guest comments and I think I have accomplished my goals.

This was our third visit to the "Beautiful Jewel Box of the Gulf" it has been relaxing and enjoyable. We were amazed to have a manatee swim by us in the water on Tuesday, AWESOME!!
We spent some time at the Clearwater aquarium. We got to see Winter and her friends Hope and Nicholas, thank you for your BOGO coupon. When we got home we watched your copy of "Dolphin Tale". Took a trip to downtown Disney for some pin trading /buying. Got to enjoy the flea markets and of course shop at Bells Outlet. Every time we have stayed here you have made more improvements, not sure what you can improve on our next visit, because I don't think you can improve much more. Our last full day was a beach day, the gulf was the warmest it had been all week (82 degrees). The perfect day makes leaving that much more difficult.
If anyone stays here and doesn't leave totally relaxed, then they need to seek professional help. Once again thank you for your hospitality. We are grateful that you share your home away from home with us and so many people. It is therapeutic. Your personal touches make such a difference.
