Photos and Description of the Vence vacation villa rental Beautiful newly decorated 4 bedroom house located on the hills of Vence

The villa has very spacious rooms .The living area has a great fire place with 2 sofas, a large table that can welcome 10 guests or more. There is a very large flat tv screen and a dvd. The french windows open onto a beautiful terrace with a magnificent view over Vence old town, the large garden and the sea. The kitchen is fully furnished. The first floor hosts the night area with 4 bedrooms and 2 lovely brand new bathroom and shower rooms. The bed are queen size and each bedroom has fitted cupboards and new furniture. There is a studio attached to the house that can accommodate 2 more people who can be independent if needed. The garden is very large with olive trees, palm trees, lavender, ponds, a'petanque' pitch and a barbecue. The swimming pool is really fantastic with a jacuzzi. There is space for at least 3 cars to park.

Vence is a lovely historical city located in the Nice area. The town has kept the charm of the Provence with its vegetable and flower markets everyday and its many restaurants , cafés and bars. It is a fantastic place to spend a holiday away from the crowd of the seaside and also with all of its authenticity.

The villa is within easy distance of Nice airport, UK drivers should have some small change available to pass through the peage (toll booth). Lovely villa in a wonderful situation with breathtaking views looking out to the Coast. Had everything we needed. Pool a great size. Wi-fi broadband was much appreciated by teenagers (and adults!). AV system was breathtaking and accomodated our I-pods and DVDs. Unfortunately sky tv not available which with 4 children would have been a bonus. The sky box was there but no card. UK Sky users should note! The road down to the villa is narrow and the entrance is tight. We didn't have a very powerful car so climbing out onto the main road was a little difficult because of the incline. There was much wheelspin and clutch slipping. The kitchen was small and compact but very well appointed with a cavernous fridge. Laundry facilities excellent for a big family.Francoise and Pierre Hamon were always available for any problems or advice.
