It is perfect for 2 persons but a third person can easily accomodated too. The apartment is located in the 4th floor of a well-maintained residential house next to the Danube Canal, a side arm of the Danube which leads through the Inner City of Vienna. There are plenty of beach bars and restaurants.
Next to the apartment is also the Vienna University of Economics and the 'Augarten' Park, home of a porcelain manufactury and the 'Viennese Boys Chor'.
The close Metro and tramway brings you in a few minutes into the center of the city.
The apartment was renovated in 2011, elegantly furnished and equipped with WiFi Internet, 40' HD Flat TV and all small details you need for a relaxing stay.

A lovely, comfortable and spacious apartment in a quiet residential area of Vienna in which we felt very much at home for 7 nights. Located away from hectic inner city bustle, however very convenient to Spittelau Rail Station and U4 and U6 U-Bahn connections. Spittelau is on the western side of the Danube canal, and a footbridge, a few minutes walk across the canal, connects the station area to the Brigittenau residential area on the east side where the apartment is located. The apartment and the entire building was clean and secure. Supermarkets are quite near and the surrounding area felt safe at night. The apartment was especially spacious for two people, good natural light from large front windows, well equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. Incidentals such as shampoo, bath lotion, toilet rolls, plenty of towels etc, were well supplied. Our visit was in December, the apartment was warm and comfortable despite cold outside temperatures. For those who like to walk there is a promenade walk along the Danube Canal which starts quite near to the apartment and this can be followed right into the old city if desired. A detailed view of the cycle and walking paths, with canal crossing locations, can be viewed on the openstreetmap.org website which gives excellent detailed information. The host was quick to respond to our initial enquiries, pleasant , and helpful always.

The apartment is cozy, clean, spacious, really well furnished for a family stay. The host is very gentle and he promptly attend any demand you need. The price is really fair for the comfort and for the optimized location. Dont hesitate to book.
The apartament is really ... cool! It is spacious, well equipped, near the subway and very well situated. I was there with my friends for 4 nights and it was very good time. Kitchen is well equipped, a Internet connection is good too, there is a lot of free space and it is comfortable home. The owner is helpful, we moved out at 10 AM but out bus was at 10 PM, so the owner took our luggage and we had free time. He delivered luggage at bus station at 9 PM and it was really nice. I recommend this apartamet for everyone! I keep the owner's visiting card and if I can go back to Vienna - I'll have no problem with home to life in, I'll back to this apartament.
What's more, it is said that the apartament is for 3 people. We were there in 4 people and it wasn't problem. The owner had an additional bed. And at the end: don't belive this pictures - the reality is better.
We booked the place in the short time and arrived in Vienna in January.
It was the first time that during vacation we stayed in a flat and not in a hotel.
I have to say that I was very impressed by the flat and all its amenities. Actually better than a hotel as it was much more space and privacy.
Communication with the host was perfect before and during our stay.
The owner supported us in finding the perfect place to eat (La Creperie, 5min away - how beautiful must this place be in summer!) and with all other helpful things (maps, tourist guidebooks, ...). Additionally there was a nice collection of good books (also in English).
I really liked that everything was new and perfectly clean.
It is next to a Hundertwasser designed building where is also the next tube station but sometimes we also walked as the apartment is located quite close to the main attractions.
Close to the apartment were several supermarkets - my favourite was Merkur - like a Tesco with huge variety and good quality.
It was the perfect place to relax after a long day outside during Viennese winter and I definitely recommend it.

you need and more. We were surprised by the many small details (shampoo,
espresso, …) which you wouldn’t expect. Very clean and comfortable. It is

The apartment is located in a quiet street in the district of Brigittenau next to the Danube Canal, one of Vienna's recreation area with several beach bars and restaurants. In the surrounding there are numerous supermarkets (Merkur, Billa, Penny, Zielpunkt, Hofer / Aldi), and a market. The nearby subway stations of line U4 and U6 take you quickly to the inner city or to the Danube Island but also directly to the Schönbrunn Palace. The nearby tram line D brings you to many 'Heurige' (wine taverns selling homegrown wine). Close to the apartment is 'Palais Augarten', which is in the middle of a huge baroque park and ideal to walk.
