Lagoa is the nearest town, famous for its strong and fruity wine. There are also many Gypsies and flea markets, and instead of bloodless bullfights. In the surrounding area is located including the crescent-shaped beach of Carvoeiro, which is due to its extensive size, the colorful fishing boats and its historic environment as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve. The typical Portuguese architecture fits perfectly into the natural setting of rocks and the sea. In the charming former fishing village, enjoy the happy atmosphere in bars, cafes and restaurants. Several German and English speaking doctors can be found here, also a gym and tennis center and the opportunity for water sports and boat trips. There are also many hiking trails with plenty of points, pottery, several golf courses in direketer nearby, a water slide park and the park on the Zoomarine EN125.

  • Each Algarve beach has its own personality, and all the more than 100 beaches in southern Portugal has sandy beach, which is probably unique in Europe, and for many vacationers and the reason to spend every year on holiday in the Algarve.
    The Wassertemparaturen are from December to March at 15 -17 degrees, 19-22 degrees in the preseason, in season 22 to max. 25 degrees.
