This holiday house is situated in the quiet rural village 'Tzummarum' on Bungalow Park 'Barradeel'. From this house, you have a beautiful view over the Frisian countryside. The village Tzummarum is a small, quiet village in the northwest corner of Friesland, near the beautiful Wadden Sea. Tzummarum lies in the triangle Franeker, Harlingen and Leeuwarden. All of these cities are within range within 20 km from Bungalow Park Barradeel.
This accommodation is ideal to discover Friesland. Visit are highly recommended some historical towns like Franeker, Harlingen and Leeuwarden, but also Bolsward (33 km) and Sneek (41km)! Do you like water sports? Makkum is to visit a beautiful city. Makkum is located next to the IJsselmeer (IJssel Lake), located about 25 km from Bungalow Park Barradeel. Tzummarum is also an ideal starting point for cycling and / or walking tours.

The house is located on the Wadden Sea
An impressive dike protects the north of Friesland. On one side is raging the Wadden Sea, where there is an extensive dike foreland. On the other side you can see the characteristic Warftenlandschaft with settlements on hills and dikes in the lowlands. The dike Oudebildtdijk in het Bildt with the typical dike house and the monumental farms is also known as the longest street in the Netherlands. If you drive along this dike, you have to factor in waiting times, because sheep cross your path. Their home is the dike.
