This luxury apartment in La Cala is fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard, it has air con (hot and cold) 28' TV with SKY and DVD. Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave etc. The property is on one level and comprises of master bedroom with en-suite including shower and jacuzzi bath. 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and shower room, sitting room /dining room has seating for six and leads out onto the terrace which has stunning sea views (south facing). The complex has 2 large communal pools and 2 kiddies pools and a play area set within attractive gardens. The very popular La Cala village and award winning beach is only a few minutes walk away where you will find bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and all the amenities you could require. There is a good bus service 400m from the apartment which will take you to the popular towns of Fuengirola, Marbella and Puerto Banus etc. CAR NOT NECESSARY. Safe included.

The town of La Cala is a small costal town which was originally a fishing village, its houses are in the main,white and the street lined with palm trees. It has a long clean beach which has received awards for environmental, sanitary and safety standards. It is amongst the best in the costa del sol and a sought after holiday destination.There are six golf courses within a ten minutes drive of the apartment and one within five minutes walk from the apartment. A five minute drive from the apartment is the Hippodroma race track which is a great day out for families and punters alike as well as horse racing it has restaurants,bars and various entertainment.Within ten minutes of the apartment is the nearby town of fuengirola which boasts a fantastic water park, zoo, castle and numerous restaurants, bars and shops.If you want to travel five minutes further to the town of Benalmadena it boasts its famous marina,Tivoli world theme park,Sea Life Aquarium and the Costa Del Sol Cable Car.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A £100 deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to departure. A refundable deposit of £100 is required to cover breakages, loss of keys etc. (please note we would not charge for slight damage such as a broken glass, plate or cup etc as we appreciate accidents happen, but would ask you to notify us so we can replace it in readiness for next occupant), once the apartment has been checked and the keys returned the refundable deposit will be sent that day.
    Departure 10.30am/check in 2pm (unless prior arrangement with owner). This allows for cleaners to come in.

Just got back from our girlie week in your apartment and wanted to say we had a fantastic time. We have now called ourselve The La Cala Ladies! That's what working in the NHS does for you after 25 years!

The apartment was lovely, weather fantastic, brilliant location close to everything.

As far as the apartment itself is concerned, everything in the description on the Internet is true - there wasn't anything that wasn't catered for and everything was clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect - no more than 10 minutes walking anywhere, with easy access to regular, safe public transport.

The resort itself is perfect for a relaxing break - lovely beach, the cheapest sun-beds and parasols we've ever had (!), great collection of restaurants and bars but no tacky souvenir shops. La Cala market on Wed and Saturdays was very good, not too big and bustly, and again in easy reach. A visit to Mijas Pueblo is a must - again - bus on doorstep to Fuengirola and then a short bus ride from there.

Sue and Mick arranged transport to and from airport for us, which meant our whole holiday ran like clockwork. Perfect - and we would have no hesitation in returning or recommending this to family and friend.
