A delightful former foresters cottage in the protected dune area of Egmond aan Zee
overlooking the stunning tulip fields(April May) only a 2 km walk from the sea.
This self catering cottage offers simple but well equipped accommodation with 3 bedrooms One twin bed, one double bed (1.40 wide) and one single bedroom.
Two bedrooms have farmland view, one garden/forest view.
Simple but practical bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC on first floor.
Spacious 3 windowed living room with dining area with same wonderful view on garden, wood and tulip fields .
Flatscreen TV in living with besides many Dutch channels also CNN and BBC One and Two.
Modern fully fitted kitchen with a.o. dishwasher microwave/grill/hot-air-oven. (Second large refrigerator in shed)
A large garden of more than 600 sq mtrs (unfenced, so not suitable for small children) , surrounded by protected dune landscape. No neighbours within sight.
The house is situated on a small road, accessible only for the inhabitants. You can take walks or bicyle tours directly from the house. Permits for entering the the protected dune area are available for guests.
The cottage is centrally located for easy access to Alkmaar and Bergen, a beautiful village with many resident artists, and making a good base from which to explore Amsterdam (40 km).
