The elegant Casa Estrella is situated just ten minutes walk from the beaches and lively promenade, in a luxury gated development with elevated views of the sea, fire mountains and Fuerteventura. Yet only 10 minutes walk from the old fishing harbour with excellent restaurants and lively bars. A hire car is not essential, taxis are inexpensive and plentiful and the local bus transport is nearby. The bungalow has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the double ensuite with shower, the other bedroom with twin beds and another bathroom with bath/shower. The spacious lounge and fully fitted modern kitchen are very elegantly furnished to a high standard. Casa Estrella has the advantage of being an end property with larger terraces on the top row of the complex with the best views. Sliding doors lead out on to a large split high level patio from the lounge and bedroom where you will find patio furniture for al fresco dining with a gas barbecue, a small garden and your own private swimming pool.

Puerto del Carmen is the main holiday resort in Lanzarote with its wide sandy beaches and palm tree lined beach promenade. Only 10 km from the airport and central to visit any part of the island, it is very conveniently situated. The resort offers a great variety of restaurants, bars, discos, shops and sports facilities. The old harbour is particularly picturesque with its quaint fishing boats bringing in the fresh fish daily. All amenities are with walking distance of Casa Estrella.

    The rates quoted are for up to 4 persons, except for the high season.

    The high season rates are for two persons, for a third or fourth person there is an extra charge of £25 per week.

    During the high season, the preferred dates of arrival due to high demand are Thursdays and Sundays.

    There is a £20 per week cot hire fee if required.

Notes: Smoking outside permissible. There is a small garden at the side of the bungalow. Only about a third of the villas at Vistas del Mar have full sea and mountain views, Casa Estrella has one of the best views and the larger outside terraces which are very popular with guests. Further information: The new golf course in Tias is just 5 minutes drive away. The Costa Teguise golf course is 20 minutes drive. The Biosphere shopping centre, beaches and diving school are only about 8 to 10 minutes walk. A Welcome Pack is provided on arrival providing tea, coffee, milk and a bottle of wine! The British managment team are happy to assist with any queries.

just back from vacation in this wonderful home in Lanzarote and thought i would drop you a quick line to thankyou for a wonderful holiday. It was like home from home with everything that we could have wanted provided in the house. The kids had a marvelous time with the private pool and are now insisting that every holiday includes one!
We hope to travel again in the near future to Lanzarote and will definately be staying at your beautiful villa, this time for two weeks.

I have visited Lanzarote a number of times previosly and I can honestly say that this property was by far the best.

The owners had thought of everything which made it so much easier for us to just chill out and enjoy ourselves!!

Will definitely book this property for my next visit.

This was my first holiday in a villa and I was very impressed. Decorated to a very high standard and equipped with everything that you can think of. Although located up a climbing slope you will agree that is worth it when you see the beautiful view from your large patio which includes a good sized pool. I can't think of one fault with this villa and will be returning as soon as I can.

The apartment was lovely. Just as it is described. Would definately stay there again. It was very comfortable and relaxing. Like a home from home. Good location to the town and harbour. Taxis are very cheap from town back to the apartment if needed. Great holiday!

My fiancee and I stayed here from June 26th. 2008 for 1 week. The villa is decorated to a high standard and very modern. The fixtures and fittings are immaculate and there was a welcoming bottle of wine in the fridge on our arrival, as well as some basics for the next morning.
The pool maintains a pleasant temperature and is easily big enough to cool down. This particular villa is semi-detached and offers privacy on both sides. On our last day, we were (very kindly) moved to another villa on the same row to use before we left later that day and it was perhaps only then we realised how superior Casa Estrella is to most of the other villas. What a result!
The walk into town is down steep hills, which is fine, as if you've sampled a few of the excellent bars in town, you don't feel the walk back up so much. Food and drink in town isn't cheap. Expect to pay around £2.50 for a pint of the local lager and around £4 plus for a Magners. You'd need around £15 - £20 per head for a main course and wine, depending on what you go for, of course. The supermarkets are plentiful and well stocked and resonable. If you like live music, look out for The Dubliner and Charlie's. For an evening drink, watching the sun set, try Route 66.
The pool and villa maintenance and management are all excellent and discreet and will call during your stay at reasonable times and all were extremely polite and completed what is needed with the minimum of fuss, booking us a taxi (which was even 15 minutes early) right outisde the gate to take us back to the airport.
As already stated, the views are tremendous. (An upside to being on a hill.)
