Protaras Vacation Rental villa: Ayias Elias

We have hired a villa before through agencies but never direct with the owner, but the whole experience was great, Sarah and Paul made everything easy from the start.
Sarah even picked us up from the airport and we hired the car from them for the two weeks, much cheaper than any car hire company and less hassle, also a very nice car. If you didnt want to hire a car it is about 10 to 15 min walk to the centre where you will find the shops, bars and restaurants.
The villa is everything its says in the description, well furnished home from home experience, you just need to pack your clothes everything is there that you could possibly want or need. We really enjoyed playing on the wii while we were there so much we had to buy one when we got home. The pool was also kept very clean, Paul did an excellent job of this, and the new pool system uses less chlorine making it more pleasant to swim in.
Thanks again Sarah and Paul for a lovely holiday nothing was to much trouble and if you needed them they where just a phone call away. If we are lucky enough to go back to cyprus again, this would be our first and only choice of accommodation.

This was a holiday out of this world!! - we have just returned from celebrating our daughter's wedding in Protaras - and from the very moment we arrived at the villa for our two week stay, we knew this was a very special place - just as the brouchure describes - immaculate, homely,spacious, with high quality furniture and furnishings, welcoming and fully kitted out with the patio area, pool and splendid outside dining table and chairs which proved to be our ' living room' for the two weeks. Oh - another thing -make use of the water cooler dispenser in the living room and the wine chiller!
Sarah and Paul have a lovely place here, and nothing was too much trouble. They left us very much to enjoy ourselves to the full. They gave tips of where to shop in neraby Paralimni, where to dine, find a quiet beach, best butchers for Bar-B-Q - an encyclopaedia of local information.
Six of us stayed in the villa which had perfect air-conditioning, and there was plenty of space. We Bar-B-Q'd for up to 18 friends and family and there was plenty of cuttlery, only having to borrow some patio furniture from next door!
Protaras is lovely, and has all you need to enjoy a sun-kissed holiday. Only 10 minutes from the villa, there are excellent restaurants, bars and cafes, fun activities for the children - and Fig-tree Bay has various watersports for all ages including amazing value-for-money para-sailing which is a must for anyone coming to Protaras.
Climb the 166 steps up to St Elias Church nearby at sunrise or sunset - this is a must for stunning views! Visit Ayia Napa for local fish cuisine and night life!; and Famagusta's 'non-man's land' for memories of Cyprus's past and present challenges.
We will be back sometime. Sarah and Paul have a lovely place here to share with us and we would recommend this villa without a doubt to anyone contempating a holiday here, where you will be assured top class care and support, wall to wall hot sunshine in August, and a place that you can call 'your own' for whatever length of time you stay here.
We have had a wonderful time, as have all who have visited us in the villa over two weeks were bowled over with the quality of the villa- vowing never again to stay in hotels or appartments.

I have just returned from a week at the beautiful villa. It has everything you need dishwasher, washing machine of course the pool , even down to infltables for the kids. Paul and Sarah are great hosts nothing was too much trouble. They sorted my our stair gates and even a wheel chair for me. A car we could hire fom them . They went the extra mile in all they did. Go to Zucchinis in the strip for dinner great food. What ever you want they will sort . I will be back next year hopefully to get married but will be using Sarah and Paul to help me arrange due to their amazing organisational skills. Oh try the Yellow boat for a 2.5 hr day trip great for the kids and only 10 Euros. All in all one of the best villas I have been to. Well done you both. An extra touch was the cold beer and wine awaiting for us after they had sorted our transfer from the airport (40mins) . WILL BE BACK THANKS Sarah and Paul.
