Located just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, our property on magnificent Grandview Ave, Mt Washington is perfect for business trips, a weekend in the city, and much more. Within walking distance is a handful of Pittsburgh's best restaurants, and the historical Pittsburgh Incline, which takes you to all the great things to do at Station Square and the subway into the city.
This historical house built in 1880 has been renovated with everything needed to make it the perfect city getaway. Also included is high speed wireless and free long distance.
Well we are back home and I am recuperating. I picked up a terrible chest virus which didn't start to really attack me until Monday the day before leaving Pittsburgh. So thankfully, I have mostly had to suffer on home turf.
Now I want to take a moment to compliment you on the beautiful designer home we arrived to. The renovation was really done to perfection. The interior touches from paint, flooring, furniture, decorative pieces, art, lighting and linen were done with true professionalism. And that is just how pleased we were with the inside. The roof top view was fabulous! We did enjoy morning coffee to evening cocktails in awe of the view of Pittsburgh from Mt. Washington. Just spot on. Like the old saying goes, Location, Location, Location! This is absolutely the "Whole Enchilada"!
Thank you so much for sharing your piece of magic here on earth.
We rented both units for a long weekend family getaway. The property was everything we had expected and more! The location was perfect and within walking distance to the incline. The view was spectacular both day and night (the upper unit has large windows overlooking the city). It was a little chilly for the roof top patio but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend some time up there. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a place in the city.
We rented out the lower unit as a place to stay for a birthday weekend. What a phenomenal time we had! The property was perfect and everything we could have hoped for. The location couldn't have been more ideal being so close to everything! We love that even though we rented the bottom unit we still
had access to the rooftop deck which provided the most amazing view of the beautiful city of Pittsburgh! The space was immaculate and felt just like home. Would definitely return upon future trips! Thank you!!
We rented both apartments for a week stay in Pittsburgh for my husband's birthday party at the Grand Concourse!! Aside from the phenomenal views, the apartment/house was perfect. More room than I had anticipated for a house on Mt. Washington, beautifully decorated, and so convenient to most places in the Burgh! We could even see some of the Steelers game! My son wants to stay at the house each time we visit!! Thank you for providing such a clean and well-maintained home. I would recommend this home to others although older folks may find traversing the stairs difficult.
We rented both units for Thanksgiving weekend as we had several families gathering in Pittsburgh for the holiday. The apartments are very well maintained, clean, and the beds are comfortable. Two families had never been to Pittsburgh before and were pleasantly surprised. The view is amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend or rent these apartments again on our return to Pittsburgh.
Everything was as promised or better. Barb, who manages the property, was great. Loved the view and deck. Could walk to grocery store and casual restaurants and parking was city-like but manageable. Stairs are unusually steep but easily manageable. We had the upper unit.
Thank you! What a place! We would do this again in a heart beat. Everything they say about it is true. Wonderful! A great place for reunions, celebrations, graduations and just a visit. The stairs could be a challenge for some people but can be managed if taken slowly and deliberately.
