Beautiful Mexican Vacation

The condo is wonderful, beautifully decorated in Mexican style, and well-equipped. The condo is situated right on a lagoon, good for swimming, while protected from the ocean waves, And after a short swim to the far side of the lagoon, a breakwater can be crossed to reach the Caribbean itself. The condo grounds also include a luxurious swimming pool.
The gated community does make one feel perfectly safe.
Excellent grocery store is only 5 minutes away.
One of the best nearby attractions is Xcaret, a large eco-themed park, filled with myriad flora and fauna exhibits, animal interactions, swimming through underground rivers (cenotes) and along the coast, Mayan village, horses, macaws, sharks, sting rays, manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, an aquarium, butterfly pavilion, mushroom farm, orchid greenhouse, fish hatchery, jungle walk, and a magnificent evening dinner-show highlighting Mexican culture and song. We spent two days at Xcaret, the highlight of our Mexican adventure. Xcaret is about 20minutes from the condo.
We also enjoyed visiting the Mayan ruins at Tulum (30 minutes from Puerto Aventuras).
People were friendly everywhere. Found some excellent local restaurants in Playa del Carmen.
5 stars for sure. We highly recommend Puerto Aventuras, and especially this particular condo.
