The officially rated 4* apartment and 3* house are perfect for holiday, short term or business use as a hotel alternative. The apartment has one double bedroom and another bedroom with bunk beds. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. Both the lounge and dining area have seating for six people, with windows providing views over the surrounding countryside. The balcony faces the vineyard and has sun from late morning until sunset. There is also a private garden.
The house is terraced with three bedrooms upstairs similarly well furnished. One bedroom has a double bed, the second has two singles and the third has bunk beds. The garden has views to the vineyard on one side and woods on the other.
Both properties have allocated parking for two cars and the location is child friendly as it is virtually traffic free. From both gardens the relaxing sound of running water from the nearby stream can be heard as it descends from the Pohorje hills on its way to the nearby river Drava
Graz airport in Austria is served by Ryanair and is only 45 minutes by car and 60 Euros if we arrange your transfer. Ljubljana Brnik airport served by Easy jet and Adria (Slovenia’s national carrier) is 90 minutes distant. You can also fly in to Zagreb airport which is roughly also 90 minutes away.

What a place! The pics on the website do not do the apartment or the area justice - its much better in real life. Apartment has everythinh you could ever want & more. Big thank you to Geraint for all his help in sorting us out.
The apartment is spacious, very clean, attractive and well-equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable and the cooking facilities are excellent - suitable for short and long stays. We are vegetarians so we cooked and ate most of our meals in the apartment with no problems at all.
As well as this, the bathroom is spacious and the shower is very efficient and refreshing.
The owner was kind enough to make his mountain bikes available to us and they were of good quality and well-maintained.
The location is generally quiet (on the edge of Maribor) so it combines good access to the countryside and the city. It's also pretty close to the cable car station that takes skiers and walkers to the top of the mountain.
We couldn't really ask more of the owner.

We were forced to cancel our booking of the apartment just a week or so before we were due to spend our holiday in Maribor. Unfortunately, my mother fell sick and we were unable to travel. This could have resulted in us losing the money we had paid for the booking, but the owner, Geraint, was extremely kind and understanding. He offered us an alternative date (at no extra cost), later in the year, or the following one. We were able to accept this and now look forward to a holiday at the apartment in May. Many thanks to this thoughtful owner.
Brilliant apartment. Everything you could think of was in the apartment
The double bed bedding we had to wash when we got there as it had a damp smell to it. We did not realise the apartment was so overlooked( it looks like the apartment is the one in the picture). Having said that it was very quiet. Very clean through out. Shame the BBQ was broken so we could not use it. Great to have the bikes.

We spent four days in late August in the apartment. We really liked it very much. The apartment is fully equipped with absolutely everything you need. We have explored here Maribor and made a very nice drive through the wine country. A good restaurant is within a few minutes by foot. The apartment is on account of its facilities and location highly recommended.
The properties are located in a quiet rural location in the village of Limbus overlooked by a vineyard but within striking distance of Maribor, Slovenia's second largest city with all the usual city attractions. In fact it is the best of both worlds as it is situated on wine road (vinska cesta) No 17 with 5 official vineyards within walking distance but a 10 minutes bus ride takes you in to the centre of Maribor. Conversely a short 5 minute drive will bring you to Slovenia's largest ski slope and home to the most popular women's world cup slalom race - the Golden Fox. There is something of interest for everyone. Within 5 minutes walk of the apartment you will find absolutely all you need whilst on holiday - a couple of fine but inexpensive restaurants, general store, butchers, coffee shop etc. The thermal spa complex at the Habakuk hotel is at the base of the ski slope and two golf courses are within 30 minutes drive. There is something of interest for everyone.

A non refundable deposit £100 / 100 Euro is required to secure the booking. Payment in full is required 8 weeks prior to arrival. 1 Euro per night Tourist tax is payable for all adults (18 and over)
