CENTRAL APARTMENT, BIG CITY FLAIR AND OASIS OF CALM AT THE SAME TIME, FOR 1-2 PERS. (+3)

As father of my 8-year-old twins I THOROUGHLY enjoyed my stay in this very clean and superbly provided flat! Oliver LOVED the internet before breakfast playing his Mushi-Monsters, whereas Lucie only reluctantly left her "sailor's bed" under the ceiling! Both kids enjoyed the luxury of a double bed to themselves!
I am sure Jamie Oliver would have approved of the kitchen with all its utensils and oven hubs incl. the dishwasher etc. But we were too busy visiting my old birth place by car which proved tricky in terms of parking in the road, but a hit when swishing onto the urban motorway round the corner and reaching the City in East Berlin in no time!
When the kids were asleep I enjoyed entertaining guests on the balcony at candle light in TOTAL silence- simply NOT A PEEP!
As the second largest shopping area called Schloss Str. is not far away ( park in park houses at a fraction of London prices!!) you should have no problem finding eating outs etc.
The kids loved their Nutella with croissants which we bought at the baker's 70m to the right when coming out of the house. The VERY friendly Turkish lady - having run out of Nutella- gave Lucie a half empty jar for nothing: aaahhh!
Note: these flats were built end of the 60s and prove tricky when you want to close the door of your flat: you need to BANG them which causes a MIGHTY DETONATION!!! Could be very embaaarressing on an early Sunday morning! But closing the door with the key will assist in obtaining a rather mellow mezzo-piano!
Whenever you need extra help, ring up Frau Klatte who looks after the flat and she will try her utmost to accommodate you.
We DEFINITELY want to return to this flat which has ample space, particularly for kids at that age. I even introduced them to some German games ( provided) such as MIKADO.
