Värmland is one of the most interesting landscapes Sweden. Nowhere is there more forests and lakes as here. The Rottnansee is in a class by himself because he has a bit of everything: forested mountains reaching down to the shore, wavy meadows, light deciduous forests and fish-filled bays.   • Rottnaholm villa has three bedrooms and a large sleeping loft in the rear part of the living area. Two of the bedrooms have built up to the gable. The high ceilings are like them. In one of the bedrooms, we have developed an extra bed area as a sleeping loft, for children to play or to sleep in high altitude. The third bedroom has the 'normal' floor height. Even the hallway and the large living-dining-kitchen area is open to the roof down. This gave the opportunity to create in the back of the living area, a large sleeping loft for at least two people. Here you can simply enjoy the view on belly along the Rottnansee and daydreaming going on. In the loft there is also room for an extra-comfortable seating area. Although the living area is designed for eight people, you will by the intelligent floor plan here is not to second-feel 'lonely'. Villa is Rottnaholm you very much!

Notes: The features lush than usual and of high quality. The TV surround sound system with LED TVs will like you - and especially the German program as at home. At the boot dryer for wet days you might have thought not - but we do. Shampoo, toothpaste, spices: all there! We ourselves are traveling a lot - you can not think of everything. Your comfort is important to us, and the charcoal for the barbecue is ready. The house is the way certified building biology - such as the ventilation system is equipped with filters - good for allergy sufferers! It is not entirely the equipment, but is still good to know: The situation here at the lake is particularly mückenarm, which in Sweden is not necessarily self-evident.

Wonderful and relaxing

Our stay was delightful. The home was beautiful and in a great location. It was the perfect distance away from everything. The home was secluded but yet not too far away from ammenities.

We found the house fully equipped, tastefully furnished, very clean and ready for us when we arrived. It is bright and very roomy and the kitchen and living room areas good for entertaining and we certainly took advantage of the grill to cook dinner, before we lit the fireplace for a cosy evening with a stunning view at the lake from the living room couch. The owners provided bikes, badminton game, life vests, canoo, fishing rod and other leisure equipment. We rented a motor boat for tours on the lake from them.

The kids (1, 4 and 6 yrs) and us went swimming in the lake every day, fed the horses at the neighbouring meadows, went canooing and hiked through the forests.

We enjoyed the beautiful lake, garden and birch grove. Right beside the house is a small creek the kids played at every day. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our two week vacation so much we would like to do it again.

We will definitely be back - I can't imagine a more perfect place that we could have stayed!
