If you like wildlife roaming around your cottage, then this cottage is situated in the best possible way. If you want to expe­rience the wild African bush - this is your place. From the cottage there is a direct view into Kruger National Park across the Crocodile River. The river is only a few meters from the cottage, separated by the wildlife fence. At sunset you can sit with your sun-downer on the top deck and watch lions drinking from the river before they go hunting. In the garden underneath you have frequent visits by warthogs, impala, zebras, giraffes etc. Guinea fowls settle in the trees nearby and you can hear their guttural voices until the night becomes black. The cottage can accommodate six persons with all necessary kitchenware. End-cleaning is inclusive in the rental price.

Marloth Park is a holiday town situated next to the Crocodile River, which forms part of the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. There are no fences between houses in Marloth Park allowing wild animals such as kudu, wildebeest, impala, water buck, zebra, nyala, giraffe and many more to roam about freely. Entrance to Kruger National Park from Crocodile Bridge Gate 15 min. drive, visit Blyde River Canyon, Swaziland, Drakensberg, Indian Ocean close to Maputo.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (Euros) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We offer 15% discount during the months of February, March, May and June 2009.

    Payment
    If you book the cottage 60 days before the rental period starts then you can divide the payment into two rates:
    1st rate of 25% of the total rental price or at least €135.
    2nd rate is the rest of the payment and should be paid up at latest 60 days before the rental period starts.
    Booking later than 60 days before rental period starts the whole amount is due.
    Payment should be done to our bank account in Denmark.
    If payment is not received before the above dates then we consider the rental agreement to be cancelled.
  • Cancellation or change.
    A cancellation can only be done in writing and is only valid from the day we have received it.
    By cancellation the following is applicable:
    1. From booking date till 90 days before the rental period starts the cancellation fee is 10% of the total rental amount and no less than 50€.
    2. Between 89 till 60 days before the rental period starts the cancellation fee is 25% of the total rental amount but no less than 50€.
    3. Cancellation later than 59 days before the rental period starts cannot be accepted at the total rental amount is due.
    If the cottage can be rented out to another party the above fees will be reduced to a fee of 25% of the total rental amount but not less than 50€.

    We will accept that another person takes over the cottage for the booked period at the same price.
  • €200 deposit before arrival paid into our account.
    The house is looked after by a local couple who can also be contacted in case something happens.
    Before you receive the keys we will ask for a deposit of €200. That will cover damage to the house, utensils, linen, remote control etc. We will refund the money when you have handed over the keys and remote control upon departure and after go ahead from the local caretaker.

Notes: The cottage can accommodate six persons with all necessary kitchenware. End-cleaning and/or weekly cleaning is inclusive in the rental price. At the ground floor there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms (with shower or bathtub) and open plan area with kitchen and dining room. At the upper floor a TV lounge for six persons and a sleeping area for two. There are two terraces one on each floor. In the garden there is a small waterhole for the wildlife. Besides an outdoor barbecue site and a fireplace with benches around it. The kitchen has a gas stove with an oven and a fridge/freezer that can operate on both gas and electricity. The house has 220 v power and there are 12 v battery operated security lights in all rooms. The house is well suited for power-cuts as all rooms have battery operated security lights.
