Feel free to leave your heart in San Francisco...only to come back and re-find it in my home.
I'm originally Australian but have lived in the US since 1993. Of all the places I have lived in the world including Sydney, Japan, Saipan, London, Carmel Miami and San Francisco, San Francisco is my favorite. I love cycling and skiing and all the wonderful activities the bay area has to offer.
pamela purchased this house in 1993
I Chose this property for the Location and loved living in this area. It is within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, coffee houses, and amenities yet on a residential street. You can also walk to the Golden Gate and The palace of Fine Arts This VRBO is my actual home and when I had to go to Australia to attend to my 90 year old mother I VRBO'd it and continue to do so whenever I can as I travel frequently.
A Historically registered house built in 1873 when there were no cars and the garage area was a stable for horses.
Thank you for providing "OUR HOME" in SF. We sincerely feel blessed that we were lucky enough to rent your home for our stay in the city. Everything was great. Maybe next year we'll try the plumbed in expresso maker.
Much appreciation and Warmest Wishes,
Claudia and John
We have been staying at this large and spacious Cow Hollow apartment since 2007. We used to live in San Francisco and now come back once a year and stay at the apartment for at least a month. Everything about the apartment is wonderful. It is open and airy, filled with light, and tastefully decorated. For those who want to forgo all the top-rated restaurants in the area and cook at home, the large and updated kitchen, with top of the line appliances, is well stocked with everything a cook might want. The living room and dining area are great for entertaining if you have friends in town but are also perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing and walking. And the marble bathroom makes you feel like you are staying in a five star hotel. Two bonuses: a sun-lit (when not foggy!) garden in the back that is lovely for morning coffee and the parking space that comes with the house. The apartment is in a perfect location with only a few blocks walk to the lively Chestnut Street or Union Street with many restaurants, shops, to-die-for bakeries, and coffee shops. It is also an easy walk to the Presidio and Chrissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. Several different bus lines are also in easy reach. It is a delight to work with Pamela on making arrangements and she is very prompt in answering any questions. We truly feel now like this is our second home in San Francisco and we always look forward to coming back.
I have to admit that when I made the reservation, it seemed to good to be true. An awesome location, the photos made it look huge, and the price was so reasonable in comparison to similar rentals in that area. But after staying there for 5 nights, I can't find one negative.
The house was amazing with a fantastic kitchen, beautiful bathroom, and a ton of room to move around. If you hate the usual hotel fare of terrible mattresses, you'll love the one here. The high ceilings make the place what it is: a home away from home. We split our time between the city and day hikes in Marin County. The location is perfect for both with parking available for a car, the GG Bridge 5 minutes away, and an unbelievable selection of restaurants within walking distance. The toughest decision each day was where to eat!!!
We certainly will be back to SF in the future and if Pamela's residence is available, I know where we'll be staying.
This was our third time in San Francisco and this home was awesome. It is beautiful, clean, very well appointed, located in a great area and the parking spot was great to have. The pictures don't do the place justice. There are lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with. The next time we are in San Francisco, we hope to stay here again.
My Husband and I chose this cottage for our 2nd visit to the wonderfull city of San Francisco. It was perfect. The location on a quiet residential street with parking was lovely and only a 5 minute walk to a vibrant area of shops and restaurants. It's in Cow Hollow which is an ideal location for being so close to all the 'Must Sees' of the city. Pamela was very much a hands on host and met us at the cottage to show us all the little details and give us her personal reccomendations. The photos really don't do it justice or show how spacious and open it is or it's wonderful Victorian meets Modern charm. We ate breakfast in most mornings and were so comfortable that we usually got a late start on our day. It far surpassed any traditional hotel accomodations as well as last year's VRBO unit. Pamela has many repeat guests and it's easy to see why.
