On two occasions my wife, Jan, and I have enjoyed the comforts and delights of La Cerisaie. The 16th Century wing of the house gives up its mysteries slowly, the 1593 carving above the entryway is sort of an oh-by-the-way wonder. We enjoyed both fireplaces and we found shopping at super market two miles down the road made playing gourmet—in our own country French kitchen—another highlight. We’d eat in a marvellous room with great views and a great fireplace. There are two entirely separate sleeping wings, which makes sharing truly possible. Try this one night. Park your rental, pop in the beautiful pool, sip an ouzo and watch the colours play on the famed Ardeche mountains in the near distance. Take a photo so you don't need to pinch yourself later.

Summer 09 - 'We had a wonderful stay at la Cerisaie – a great house and location. Having the two wings worked really well with the two families. It was a very hot week (up to 37 degrees), so we got good use of out of the pool. So, overall, very happy.'

“We had a lovely time in your nice house. It was a warm welcome.. All the nice baskets, curtains etc. Kitchen. Bedlinnen.
We hope to come back. Next year I hope... we ended our holiday with ice cream in cliousclat at 5 pm on the terrace overlooking the hills (at that time there was still no one there so we could sit there with all the children. One evening we also had a really nice night with a bottle of wine and drinks for the children at the Petanque square.”
