This amazing self-catering three storey villa set in private grounds is just five minutes from the stunning Nai Harn beach in the south of Phuket. With great local amenities and restaurants the villa is only 15 minutes from the lively nightlife of Kata and Karon beach with Patong an easy 25 minutes away. There are also a number of beautiful and secluded beaches in the close vicinity. Ideal for families, couples or large groups, enjoy evening meals on the roof terrace taking in the breathtaking 360 degree sunset, sea and mountain views or dine in the outdoor Balinese sala. Relax by the pool or sunbathe in the garden and unwind in complete privacy. The open plan living/dining area has a kitchen fitted to high European standards and the villa is luxuriously furnished throughout. There are three bedrooms, two en suite, the master occupies the whole top floor and has its own private balcony overlooking the pool. There is a balcony on the first floor which the other two bedrooms share.

Nai Harn, Ya Nui, Laem Kha, Rawai and Freedom beach are all within 5 - 10 minutes and are extremely beautiful and undeveloped, ideal for romantic walks, family picnics or just relaxing in peace after a heavy night! They are a lot quieter than the package tour destinations of Kata, Karon and Patong though this is where one must go for jet ski's, parascending and water skiing. Nai Harn provides the perfect place from which to dip in to these areas and also to explore the whole of Phuket. Thai massages are offered on Nai Harn beach, the ideal spot to relax in. People flock from all over Phuket to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink on Promthep cape, just next to Nai Harn beach. Payment method transfer in Thai Baht direct to bank account. £500 security deposit payable, refundable within 2 weeks of departure less damages and breakages. 25% deposit payable upon booking, balance payable 8 weeks prior to commencement date. Further Nai Harn Activities: Snorkeling and diving trips go from Rawai beach, 10 minutes from the villa. One can also hire a speedboat and go around the many uninhabited islands just off the coast. There is horse riding 10 minutes from the villa. One can hire sea kayaks or boats on Nai Harn beach, sailing lessons are also available. There are several local spa's and health and beauty centres. There are ATV tours, elephant safari's and a snake show 10 minutes from the villa. On Nai Harn beach there is a monastery and about 20 minutes away is Wat Chalong Buddhist Temple. Excellent night life is not far with Kata, Karon and Patong 15 - 30 minutes away. There are also numerous small bars in the immediate area and two night clubs open 'til 6 am, these are liveliest in the high and mid seasons. Phuket has a number of high standard golf courses; the closest one to the villa is Phuket Country Club golf course which is 20 minutes away. Fishing expeditions run from Rawai beach.

Phuket zoo is about 15 minutes away and there is also great shopping 20 minutes away in Central, or for local markets Karon and Kata have a good range of stalls selling everything from fake clothes to watches, cd's, dvd's and tourist souvenirs. There is great surfing to be had on Nai Harn beach at the end of the dry season and in the rainy season. There is a large Muay Thai camp 5 minutes from the villa which attracts many foreigners wanting to come and train with local boxers. 1 Day training sessions are offered. We stayed at Villa Tamarind with 5 friends and had an amazing time. The villa is ideally located for great nights out, fantastic beaches, excellent activities and also very well suited to relax at during the day. The cleaning staff and lady who did the airport transfers were very helpful and polite and the villa had all the amenities we could have hoped for from a luxury villa and more. We will definitely be back!! Guy

overall our stay was very good,however the villa needs a bit of restauration especially the roof top,where the only thing we found was broken table/chair,not at all the picture describe on the net,which was a shame.
Also the location is decribe as 5mns from shop or 5-10mns from beach however does not mention that this is by car. and trying to walk it every day to make it to the nearest shop was a bit tedious.
otherwise lovely maid, doing an excellent job , nice pool area,house was well furnished.
Owner's Response: Very glad you had a great stay at Villa Tamarind. The points made are all very accurate; I must apologise if the times to the local areas in the advertisement were not clearly indicated by car or scooter, I will look to modify the advert.

All exterior wooden furniture has suffered from the salt and sea air along with the tropical sun. These are scheduled to be replaced with high quality synthetic rattan when I’m next in Thailand at the beginning of December.

We had a fantastic time and the Villa was fabulous!! We have already recommended it to a number of our friends and hope to return in the not too distant future. The airport transfers were stress free & extremely efficient and the daily maid service added to our delightful experience. Nong assisted us with the car hire and Richard was always available to assist, if & when required.
