Our second floor apartment is in a private home with a separate entrance through a charming courtyard, located in the picturesque ancient village of Ajijic on the shores of Lake Chapala, Mexico's largest lake.
The village is only a thirty-five minute drive from Guadalajara International Airport, and three and a half to four and a half hours to the West coast beaches of Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta.
The apartment is 700 square feet and the deck is 204 square feet and features a Great Room with Living Room, Dining Room, Bedroom and Updated Kitchen. There is a large bathroom with whirlpool tub. The comfortable shaded terrace is a wonderful place for quiet dinners at home and boasts great lake and mountain views.
This Ajijic vacation rental is completely furnished and rates include all utilities. Our apartment also includes all consumables, like paper towels, paper napkins, purified drinking water, laundry and laundry supplies, dish soap, trash bags, bathroom soap, etc. There is 32" Screen TV and Shaw Satellite TV, wireless high speed internet, maid service twice a week, and the apartment has been newly furnished and redecorated.
This property is located within walking distance of major shopping area, the centuries old plaza, art galleries, real estate offices, etc.- all within three to five blocks.
People are discovering that the Chapala region has the second best climate in the world, that is why some of our guests prefer to escape the heat from Southern United States and visit us during the summer. It has few equals in terms of climate - in fact, it has been called the 'land of perpetual spring'. The rainy season is mid-June to late September, with most of the rain falling at night, for the rest of the year, it’s very dry.
We are now offering FREE pick up and delivery at Guadalajara International Airport if your arrival and departure time are during daylight hours.

Thanks for the wonderful space you provided for us. Glad to be the first ones to use it. Enjoyed the peace, views and good times. Your travel hints and advice were appreciated. We will surely make it back soon for a longer period of time.
Prior to renting this beautiful home, I read all of the reviews. Prior to arriving, both Patrick and Rolly were very helpful right from the start. Once I finally arrived, I met Patrick who was so wonderful and wanted to make sure I got the most out of my stay. The house is more beautiful than the pictures show and has everything you could possibly need. I would recommend this place to anyone and when I go back, I hope there is availability because this place books up far in advance and now I know why. Thanks Patrick and Rolly.
This little casa is situated in the best part of Ajijic. You can walk just about anywhere you want to go to. The casa is furnished with everything you might need. There is a washer and dryer and a housekeeper two times a week. The owners are delightful, helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you might need. The ride to and from the airport is great and convenient and such a nice service with no fee. I'd definitely stay there again. Perfect for a couple.
The property is very well located and very well maintained. The owners are awsome people and very helpful in all we needed to have a comfortable.
I will recommend it to anyone and I looking forward to come back again.
What a great place for a girls' get away, too! Rolly and Patrick were great hosts...even showed us the flower that blooms for only one night. The kitchen was just the right size for a quick meal, although there are such good places within walking distance, that it was tough to stay home! (Including a family operated burrito place across the street, as well as Gossip's Kitchen, a cajun style place right down the hill). Ten minute walk to the malecon and five minute walk up to a trail. The house is centrally located, and very private. The atrium was a joy to look at. I've only been home for a few days and am aching for the sounds and sights of Ajijic (well maybe not the rooster that wakes up at 5 AM!) Patrick even got up early for our 7 AM departure, just to say goodbye!
My wife & I spent a fantastic week in this beautifully well maintained suite. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and has a large patio. We slept like babies and enjoyed waking to the sounds of singing birds, roosters and the occasional clipity-clop of horses passing by.
The location is ideal, we felt very safe, and is close to restaurants, bars, shopping, taxis or buses, with most things just a short walk away.
Patrick, the owner is very friendly and great to deal with. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Ajijic. Thank you Patrick.

I felt completely at home in the second floor apartment, with its well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. The balcony was huge, with a table and chairs and lounge chairs. The weather was hot when I was there and several fans kept the place quite cool when I came "home" for a siesta or to make dinner and relax. Everything was clean and in excellent condition.
You enter the house through a leafy courtyard. Patrick lives downstairs and is a warm and knowledgeable advisor who doesn't intrude on your privacy. The location, on the north side of the carretara, is in a neighborhood, fairly close to but not in the centro, which I enjoyed. If you need a silent place to sleep (¿in Mexico?), you might bring earplugs, because in the morning there are roosters crowing and vehicles driving by on cobblestones. A couple of trails going up the mountain are very close by.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy living in Ajijic.
