GREAT TANGLEY MANOR 3 BEDROOM OPTION

We all love Love LOVED Great Tangley Manor! The whole process, from booking, arriving, staying and leaving was easy (well as easy as leaving such a lovely house can be!). Nicho kept us well informed and provided all the information we could possibly need during our stay. We can think of nothing they could have done better. Nicho and the owners made us feel very welcome and the tour was very interesting. Maybe this is why we all settled in and felt at home straight away. For a large house it feels surprisingly cosy. There were 3 young children in our party and they found the house fascinating. This presented us with a problem getting them to leave the house for days out and whilst out, there was the constant, 'Are we going back now?' so my advice to parents is make it easy on yourself and don't bother to leave the house! There are so many things to wax lyrical about; the great setting, the fascinating history (especially sitting in the dining room with its panels from the Armada and big window you feel like you are sitting in a ship), the kitchen with the modern glass house and how it doesn't feel at all at odds with the more historic parts, how much fun it was rustling up family dinners in the lovely kitchen, the grandeur yet comfortable ambience of every room. We feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to stay in such a place. We are veterans of the Landmark Trust properties and this just blew them all away. It had all the 21st century comforts yet didn't compromise the historic aspect. The only downside is a week later we are still pining for the Manor.
