Picasso was perfect

Since our son had a business trip to Munich, we decided to take a 2 week break in Bavaria, together with our border collie, Merlin. Finding accommodation at a distance can be a bit of a lottery, but Picasso delivered all that we needed and more. The owner, Josef, was extremely accommodating in making the arrangements with us, helped considerably because he speaks very good English.
The website photos don't really do the apartment justice - it's spacious and well-equipped with a good kitchen and enormous bathroom, and it's all as good as new. Outside temperatures dipped below zero during our stay, but we were warm and cosy inside thanks to the under-floor heating throughout. Very quiet location, with dog walking, Lidl supermarket, a good traditional restaurant (dogs allowed) plus a couple of others, and the S-Bahn station all within walking distance. Train journey to the centre of Munich is about 25 minutes, and a partner ticket (up to 5 adults with 2 children equal to one adult) for the Munich XXL area costs 13.10 euros; accompanied dogs go free. The ticket is good for as many journeys as you like on a single day. We used Picasso as a base for sightseeing in Munich, including the first of the Christmas markets, and day trips as far as Austria and back.
Josef lives in one of the other apartments on site, which was handy for local information if we needed it, and we chatted to a few of the locals (in English!) whilst out walking our dog.
We loved Picasso - it's highly recommended!
