The spacious living-cooking-dining room with well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, coffee maker, bar, a chimney, TV sofa corner (satellite TV) and dining table for eight people (with child seat) leaves in summer and winter nothing to be desired.

In the bathroom with tub of the washing tower permitted with washing machine and porpoises washing in between. The additional bathroom with a shower is wheelchair accessible and wheelchairs. Three cozy bedrooms with two new double beds allow maximum recovery. The sofa bed in the living room if required results in two more sleeps.

The large patio with stone arena, fireplace, deck chairs and granite table for 8 people invites summer and winter to rest. A playground with creek offense allowed near children's play in the summer and building igloos in winter.

The wild, romantic and rustic Gasterntal Üschinental with several Alpwirtschaftsbetrieben, dairies and restaurants invite to excursions on foot, by bicycle or by car (fees apply). By train and on foot leading one-day hikes or mountain biking on the Gemmi the Lötschenpass or Hohtürli into adjacent valleys.

In bad weather, the famous arcades of the old town are located 1 hr.

Loving and ecological restoration: Out of concern and love for the environment, we have the old electric storage heating replaced by solar panels and modern pellet heating systems in the renovation in 2010. The ground floor was built and energetically renovated. Combined wall and floor heaters provide a very comfortable living environment. For interior work only high quality natural materials were used. Beech wood flooring, maple kitchen cabinets and black granite blue. The waiver of carpets also allows allergy sufferers a relaxing stay.

Kandersteg has two hydroelectric plants that supply the village with 'green electricity'. Drinking water is of good quality in sufficient quantities.

The sweeping view collection & another collection point for Glass, Pet, etc. allow meaningful waste separation. Behind the house is a place for compost green waste.

SCHÖNE ANGENEHME FEWO MIT SEHR GUTEM KOMFORT

Die FeWo ist sehr gut ausgestattet, modern, geschmackvoll und in sehr gutem Zusand, auch in Details mit allem erdenklichen Geschirr, großzügig ausgestattetem Notproviant (Kaffee, Nudeln etc.) bei einer späten Anreise mit dem Zug (iwe unserer). Sehr gut beheizt.
Gut Platz für 3E und 3 K. Sogar 2 Toiletten mit 2 Duschen und eine Badewanne, Trockner, Waschmaschine. Skilift zu Fuss (in Skistiefeln sehr gut zu erreichen), Loipe vor der Haustür. Für uns für unsere Skiwoche perfekt. Nächstes Jahr wieder!

Dollyhay Chalet located in a sunny and quiet location in the cozy mountain resort of Kandersteg. The house is 10 minutes walk from the train station, 5 minutes from the village center, swimming pool, ice rink and the valley station mountain railway to Öeschinensee. In the mountain village offer over 20 restaurants, bars, etc. The entire spectrum of simple food to gourmet menu.

Kandersteg is located at the edge of the UNESCO world natural heritage Aletsch. Dollyhay Chalet is an ideal starting point for short walks and gentle to very challenging hikes & high gear. In winter, cross-country skiing is very attractive because trail next to the house. Family-friendly ski slopes are accessible via cable car.

Other Activities: Rope Park, Via Ferrata, snowshoeing, curling.

Ski: Kandersteg has with ideal slopes for families. For skiers the slopes of the adjacent Loetschental is recommended to use (by subscription included).

The carriage ride from Öschinensee the valley is suitable for experienced sledders. Chalet Dollyhay are 3 Plasticbobs, two wooden sled and a sled available. A short, suitable for children bobsled with night lighting is 5 min away from the house in Oeschiwald.

Kandersteg has numerous landschafltich delightful cross-country skiing at different levels of difficulty for Classic and Sakting.

The quiet and sunny location on the northern edge of the village allows relaxing holiday around the house or an active holiday in the immediate and wider environment. The equipment of the house is similar. Deck chairs, two tables, a fire bowl in the limestone arena in front of the house; a comfortable sofa bed in the sitting and TV area and wood-burning stove in the living-dining room allow cooking relaxing holiday in and around the house. The rich equipment of the kitchen invites you to culinary heights. The dishwasher makes for recovery after extensive time. The supplemental wood stove stove invites users to experiment with grandma's kitchen.
