Bathroom 1:

There is a bath tub and a toilet in the bathroom.

The size of bathroom is 6m2.

Floors are tiled.

Bathroom2: There is a wash basin, a mirror cabinet and a large mirror on wall in the bathroom. The bathroom has a large window.

Rooms: At the entrance there is a hallway, from where you can reach a walk-in closet and the living room. The living and dining room has a large glass table with 4 leather chairs, a kitchenette with oven and refrigerator, a TV with multimedia function, a show case, a reading lamp, a floor lamp, a Relex sofa, a wall clock. From here you get to the bathroom and bedroom. The room is dimmed by the blinds attached to the inside of the 2 windows.

The floor is carpeted. With the window open, little bit of street noise can be heard.

There is a double bed (1.8 m * 2.0 m) in the bedroom, which can be combined with an extra bed (1.8 m * 0.9 m) if needed (the bed is then in placed the living room), a table, a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, a TV and 2 bedside lamps.

The room is moderately dimmable with internal blinds on the windows.

Green courtyard for shared use:

The green courtyard has a covered patio. There is a bicycle stand, a table and 6 chairs.

The yard can be illuminated in the evening.

Extras in the property:

Our house renovated in old Berlin style and the apartment Pablo Picasso renovated in 2011 provides you a spectacular view of the TV tower, the tallest building in Germany, and Hackescher Markt (or Hacke’s Market).

Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral, Alexanderplatz, bank of River Spree, Hackescher Markt, the Reichstag in maximum 5 minutes on footpath.

There is a bar in the basement.

There is a park and adventure playground in front of the door outside. You are right in the middle of heart of Berlin.

Berlin flair with galleries, music pubs, bars, boutiques and small restaurants for everyone’s budget, all nearby (100m).

It is the most iconic and historic corner of the city. Vibes of big city!!

Hackescher Markt is the most popular starting point for Berlin nightlife.

Perfect Apartment in Great Location

I just returned from a week and a half stay in this delightful apartment. The flat is a perfect combination of everything you need when staying abroad: it's in a great location, full of amenities, big, in a safe area, a great price, and the landlord is friendly and helpful. The U-Bahn is a few meters from the front door, and the S-Bahn and other U-Bahn stops are just down the street. The apartment is also very near Alexanderplatz, where the bus to Tegel Airport stops.

There are restaurants, shops, bars, sites, you name it, all around the apartment. Yet the unit itself is quiet, situated on an interior courtyard. Dirk, the owner, pointed us to interesting sites in the city and also accommodated our extra early arrival and departure times. He lives in the building and was always around and accessible.

I highly recommend this apartment. My only concern is that by recommending it, I may have a hard time booking it in the future!

Excellent location

We were absolutely thrilled with the apartment on Steinstr. Not only was there a wine cafe two houses down on the corner, but also a playground for our 3 year old right across the street. There's a U-bahn station one block a way and S-bahn station Hackeschermarkt (which connects you to most of the city) just a five minute walk away.

The apartment was in what I would call "true Berlin". You are just minutes away from so many tourist attractions, yet the apartment is in a true neighborhood with the small side streets and cobblestone sidewalks. You can see the Fernsehturm while walking in the neighborhood and Hackeschehoefe are also near by. We happened upon a very small Vietnamese restaurant one night and were pleasantly surprised. There are numerous other restaurants all around, as well as a grocery store, bakeries, and cafes. Everything you need for a stay!

I can highly recommend the wine cafe (we visited it 3 times in 3 days), which has a wonderful selection of Italian wine and they let you buy it out of house and take to go. We ate there one night and were also pleased.

And now on to the apartment. What you see in the pictures is what you get! No surprises here. Very clean and modern. Perfect for a couple or a small family. Dirk, the owner, was always happy to help us with anything and answer any questions. For the price, I doubt you can find a better place in Mitte! I only wish we could have stayed longer!

We are looking forward to coming back!
