Our house is located in the quiet Northeast, but close to the newest infrastructure in Cape Coral! In 8 minutes you are on Pine Island Road with beautiful new and large shopping centers and the largest concentration of restaurants in the whole city - there are more than 20! Our house has no direct neighbours on either side, and also accross the canal there are no houses. However, you are not lonely, as accross the street there are quite a few homes. All you see from the terrace is pure nature - no pools, dog fences and boat garages. Children may have fun without disturbing anybody. The spacious pooldeck offers sunbathing as well as shady places under the covered area. The pool (southern exposure) is solar-heated, but in addition has a gas heater,

Brightness and space are the main characteristics of our home.

Sliders open the great room to the pool area, creating a wonderful feeling of outdoor living.

The master bedroom has access to the pooldeck.

The master bath has a wirlpool bathtub, a walk-around-shower, 2 vanities and a separate WC.

Both guestroom have access to the guest bath, which features a tub with shower curtain, a vanity and a WC. Sliders separate the vanity from WC and shower.

Our 'American Room' with WiFi is for a quiet retreat - with a table for your computer activities and a comfortable armchair for reading.

About Annemie Wenzel

For 13 years, we have spent 3 winter months in beautiful Cape Coral. After renting and buying a house, we have finally built our own with the main features of quietness, space and brightness.

Annemie Wenzel purchased this house in 2006
What makes this house unique

Every year, our 5 grandchildren visit us in turns. They can be noisy in the pool for hours, bicycle in the quiet streets or explore the neighbourhood on their inliners. The vacant lots to the right and left of the house allow for ballgames.

I do not want to repeat all the wellknown clichés about Florida in general and Cape Coral in particular. Also in our house, romantic sundowns are inclusive......

Because of the location of our home, there are alternative beaches to Ft. Myers and Sanibel, like Venice Beach und Gasparilla Island. We are also close to old Fort Myers. This city, once booming when Edison and Ford spent the winter there in their historic homes, has recently been restored to its old atmosphere and is worth a stroll along the Calousahatchee river and the many shops and restaurants.

You are also close to Matlacha with its colourful art boutiques on the way to Pine Island.

Notes: In the garage you will find 2 bicycles and a car mount that can easily be adapted to any vehicle. Cycling in Sanibel and elsewhere (eg, Lovers Key) is a huge pleasure. But you may also get some exercise from riding some miles on empty roads around the house. For the beach, chairs, umbrellas and a cooler are available, as well as sand toys for small children.
