A perfect place to stay in Florence

The apartment lived up to the description and pictures on the website so we were not at all disappointed. The description was entirely accurate. It was immaculately clean and in very good condition. Lorenzo met us at the apartment on time and gave us some useful information about the city. The location is good if you don't mind walking a little bit - if you do then you may need to stay nearer the centre. However, don't let this put you off - if you can walk then it is worth it. It only takes about 10 minutes to get to the centre and it's rather nice to escape the noise etc at the end of the day. While we were there, the weather was not brilliant but I can imagine that in the summer, the apartment would be perfect as it is light and airy with a pleasant view of a convent. I would recommend this property to a friend without hesitation and in fact would stay in it again should I return to Florence. We found the local restaurants expensive and after a few days, found the cheapest way to eat out was in a pizzeria. As the apartment has a very good, well equipped kitchen there would be no problem if you wanted to save a bit of money and eat in. There is an excellent bakery shop opposite the apartment so breakfast is no problem! Finally, the apartment is not too far from the station. We caught the bus from Florence airport to the station and then walked with our suitcases to the apartment. It took about 10 minutes but it would also be possible to take a taxi if you wanted. I hope you enjoy your stay in this apartment - it really is a little home from home.
