House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8-11)

Near the top of the mountain and numerous recreation facilities, a large, cedar contemporary awaits you and your vacationing family or group. Soak up the quiet as you watch the deer, wild turkey, and other wildlife from many tall windows inside. Every effort has been made to insure your vacationing pleasure. This is our other home, and we LOVE it! We want you to LOVE it, too!

This Non-Smoking, Pet-Friendly home is fresh and inviting. The Great Room, Dining, and Kitchen are entirely open and awesome, with soaring ceilings, a woodburning fireplace, TV with DVD, a CD/Radio, and lots of comfortable seating, even a rocking chair! In warm weather, there is a large, screened porch with outdoor furniture for your enjoyment. The floorplan encourages togetherness and sharing of special moments.

Our Kitchen and adjacent laundry area are fully-equipped, with all the large and small appliances one could need. Just bring your groceries (and detergents and paper products, of course!) and LET THE FUN BEGIN!

The first floor has a second Master Bedroom with a Queen bed. There is a second Queen bedroom, and lastly, a full bed in the other bedroom. The first floor bath is Hollywood-style, with two compartments, so that two guests can use it simultaneously. The Master Suite is on the upper, loft area and features a large skylight, a private balcony, and a large bath with two-person Jacuzzi surrounded by natural cedar, mirrors and a wooded view. There is also a separate shower after a brisk run in the mountain air. Blankets, pillows, linens, and comforters are provided. (There is also a double futon and a sleep sofa in lower level family room.)

The Lower Level is one very large Family Room with a pool table, a Foosball game table, TV with DVD, lots of comfortable seating, and room for card playing, games, etc. This is a great room for relaxing after an exhilarating day on the slopes, or hiking around the Poconos.

About The Owner

We have been visiting Poconos since 2002. In 2006, we decided to take a plunge and purchase our own vacation property. It was one of the best decisions we have made! We love skiing and sitting by the fireplace in the winter and swim and fish in the summer. It's just such an idyllic place!

We have a number of friends who own houses in our community. The only time we get to see them is when we come up to the Poconos.

What makes this house unique

You just can't find too many properties that will house a large group. Our 4 bedroom house comfortably accomodates 10 people. Check it out for yourself!

Plenty of room for everyone. There was plenty of everthing dishs,cups and sliverware etc.. My family had a great time. The house was clean and well stocked.

Great Winter Getaway! House is big and has everything you need!

This is the second trip our family has booked to this house (2/2008 and 2/2011). The house has everything you need, plenty of dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc. Cooking in the kitchen is a pleasure! New refrigerator, washer, dryer was a nice upgrade. Bedrooms are nice, plenty of space. Lots of room for kids to play. The basement rec room is great for kids during the day and great place for adults to get away at night to relax. Deer everywhere you look on the mountain, very tranquil and relaxing wooded landscape.

Snow tubing at Fernwood was great fun for the kids. Skiing at Shawnee or Camelback is always a good day.We would definitely love to return next year! Owners are great to work with!

Very nice house, lots of space, very well stocked

We stayed in this house in the summer of 2010. It had a lot of space, 3 different areas where 11 people could congregate - great room, porch, or rec room/basement - or get away from one another. Nicely wooded lot. Very well stocked kitchen - all utensils, pots, pans you would need (many houses give only the bare minimum), plus a lot of food/spices/etc already stocked. Some things in the house are a little worn, but still OK, and the owner is upgrading the place over time. And dog-friendly! You don't see many houses accepting dogs. Owners were punctual and responsive throughout the rental process.
