Built in the 18th century, Riyad Charai, the former residence of the private secretary of the Pacha El Glaoui, is one of the most sought after properties of Villas of Morocco.
With one of the largest patios in Marrakesh, of 350 square meters , and an exceptionally large swimming pool, Riyad Charai will charm you with its unique and minimalist design. The sound of the swallows, the smell of the 150 year old jasmine tree and the impressive Palm garden, coupled with the secular cedar wooden doors, makes the Riyad Charai an exceptional oasis of breathtaking beauty and tranquility.
Riyad Charai is a 15 minutes walk from Jamaa Lefna square, and is accessible by car with a short walk. It is built on three floors, on a total surface of 800 Sq m of land.
Riyad Charai has been completely restored in traditional Moroccan style whilst using a trained eye for contemporary taste. It is certainly a pure pleasure of style and minimalist design. All woodwork is in antique cedar and all materials originate from authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.
The Master Bedroom is a spacious room with exceptionally high ceilings decorated in antique sculpted cedar wood. Air-conditioned, this room also boasts a minimalist style, and has a king size bed (2m x 2m), a Menzeh with a sofa and an antique incrusted mirror. The bathroom, separated from the room with a floating panel, has an antique bath and a shower, and is all decorated in Tadelakt, a traditional wall painting method consisting of polishing walls by hand several times to give them a cool-like marble surface.
Room One has air conditioning, an additional children bedroom and a bathroom. Room Four is one of the biggest bedrooms of the property, with a sizeable bathroom. Room Five has air conditioning, an additional children bedroom and a shower room. The last room is a small double (can be used as a single). It has a balcony, a lovely view over the palm tree garden and a shower room.
This villa is a 7 bedroom, although it sleeps up to 18 people.
The security deposit is 10% of the total rental price. The security deposit is released 45 days after departure .
This villa has a 5% service charge.
