Beautifully decorated duplex apartments set in lush green gardens. Each apartment has its own terrace and balcony with table and chairs for dining al fresco. Upon entering the apartment on the ground level you will find a large open plan sitting area with sofas and television and a built in pull down bed for extra sleepers. The dining area and fully equipped kitchen complete the downstairs. 1 Twin bedroom with double door access on to the varanda and a bathroom with built in shower and bidet are on the first floor.

Car Hire: Car Hire can easily be arranged for you. Please request a quote when booking. The car can be picked up by you and returned to the airport. All travel details will be sent by email to you. Alternatively a transfer from the airport can be arranged plus there are taxis are right outside the airport.

Golfing: Palheiro golf course is only 7km away or 15mins by car. Classic hills, ridges,deep valleys and thoroughfares have all been incorporated into the terrain to produce a dramatically interesting course, with stunning views. Arrangements can easily be made for our clients at the Club (bookings etc) as well as a free informal chat with the local British golf captain and his wife, great, if you would like a more in depth guide. Also the spectacular 27-hole Santo da Serra golf course [also known as Campo de Golfe part of the PGA European Tour] is within easy reach - 13km away. This is Madeira’s oldest golf course. It sits high up on a plateau and is marvelously scenic with inspirational views back up the mountains and out over the Atlantic below.

Scuba Diving: The base is located in Madeira's sole underwater nature reserve which is the only one in the Atlantic with the DIN-Certification and it has received awards for the best diving base in the Atlantic.

The apartment was a lot more spacious than i had imagined and the outside area was just a dream. We sat out most days and evenings with a good book and enjoyed the weather. The pool was great for a dip and it was handy having the hotel nearby for evening meals when we didnt want to cook.

We will definitely return, thanks to all the staff and Mike for his help.
