In the heart of the Medina of Marrakesh, Riyad El Arsa ("the Garden Riyad") is an oasis of peace and tranquility . This private property has been recently restored under the supervision of architect Quentin Wilbaux, using the traditional earth construction , and avoiding modern materials. With its fine decoration, combining warm oriental tones with a trained contemporary eye, its designer linen, 16th century arches, Jacuzzi in the courtyard, terrace solarium, and immediate proximity to the Jamâa El Fna Square, Riyad El Arsa will provide couples and small groups of family or friends with a unique experience of understated luxury and traditional Moroccan comfort.
Riyad El Arsa is built around a courtyard onto which all rooms and salons open. On the ground floor, adjacent to the courtyard, the living room is finely decorated with warm tones and colors , such as reds, oranges and yellows, enriched by the beautiful woodcarving. The Jacuzzi, the "Bhou", a winter salon ideal to retire for a moment of intimacy, and an en suite bedroom occupy the other sides of the courtyard. The first floor comprises the master apartment and one other en suite bedroom and a charming dining room overlooking the patio that can accommodate up to ten guests. With the the dining rooms desirable location, enjoy unique candle-lit meals especially if the patio is also illuminated with candles.
Riyad El Arsa comprises three ensuite bedrooms, of which one has an additional room, ideal for children. The master bedroom (picture) has a solid wood baldaquin bed and a fireplace, decorated with highlights of reds and purples. The adjacent room is simply furnished with single beds and Moroccan tapestries on the wall. The bathroom is decorated with brown Tadelakt. Located on the ground and the first floor, the two ensuite bedrooms have a nicely decorated in beige tones with subtle touches of red. The bathroom, equipped with a shower, is decorated with Tadelakt, a traditional wall painting method consisting of polishing walls by hand several times to give them a cool marble-like surface. One of the En Suite rooms is equipped with a twin bed, easily changed into another double.
