Original and panoramic apartment, on the sixth floor of a 1874 building (with lift from first to fifth floor): from the two windows of the large living room you can see the majestic Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, with its arcade, its garden park and Roman ruins. The sunny, bright and spacious apartment, has been completely renovated and equipped with all modern comforts: air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD, internet, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. It has a chestnut crossbeam ceiling and a wooden floor, that make the flat original and charming. The furniture, that matches modern style pieces with some fine antiques, is very elegant and comfortable. The apartment can fit up to 5 people and consist of an entrance, a spacious corridor with a splendid Chinese art deco wardrobe, a large living room with three comfortable sofa bed and a dining area for six, a cosy bedroom with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area for four, and a bath with shower.

The apartment is situated in the characteristic Rione Esquilino, in one of the most spacious squares of Rome, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, dedicated to the first King of Italy at the end of XIX century. Majestic building with arcades with 280 columns surround a wonderful park with big palms, citrons of Lebanon, platani, magnolia, and Roman ruins of a monumental fountain (III century a.C.) Located in one of the most well connected areas in the city center, only a short walk from Colosseo, Domus Aurea, Roman Forum, Basilicas of San Giovanni in Laterano, Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and Santa Maria Maggiore. With the metro practically right next to the apartment, you will arrive easily to the St. Peter Basilica and the Vatican Museums and all the wonderful sites you can find in Rome. The Central Railway Station “Termini”, from which the shuttle train to the airport departs, is a short distance away, only some minutes by foot.

I had the great fortune of spending Easter 2009 in Rome with my family at this roomy & neat apartment. We have 2 boys ages 8 & 11 as well as my mother and we were more than comfortable. We loved everything about the apartment: the location was perfect for visiting the sites & the space was roomy with comfy beds for us all to relax after our adventures. Giovanni the manager was very accommodating and a delight to work with. We would love to visit again!!

Very nice and clean place

Estuvimos 4 dias en el departamento del 19 al 22 de Mayo, nos parecio muy comodo, acogedor parace que estas en tu casa, todo esta muy limpio y ordenado, la cocina esta en muy buenas condiciones, tienes todo los utencilios necesarios, el ba;o es amplio y muy limpio, Giovanni es una persona encantadora nos dio muchos tips para salir, a un lado del departamento hay un restaurante delicioso con una atencion excelente que nos recomendo Giovanni, el metro esta saliendo del edificio, tienes un supermercado a una calle. Mi familia estuvo muy comoda en ese lugar, lo disfrutamos mucho, la proxima vez regresaremos aqui, ademas es muy segura la zona.

We were 3 adults (2 sisters and one husband). Stayed here for a couple of nights in the beginning of May 2009 and wished it could have been (should have been) longer. Everything was as described; all so neat and clean. Internet access was a nice touch. Since we were only there a limited amount of time we didn't utilize the kitchen except for coffee....
This makes a great alternative to hotels and I would highly recommend!

Optimale Stadtwohnung im Zentrum

Sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtete Stadtwohnung im 6. Stock eines historischen Gebäudes in optimal zentraler Lage (Aufzug vom 1. bis zum 5. Stock).
Die Wohnung war sauber und der Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Direkter U-Bahn Anschluss, Supermarkt in der Nähe, Bahnhof in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.
Alleine die Fenster liegen, baulich bedingt etwas hoch, so dass zwar viel Licht herein kommt, eine Aussicht aber im sitzen oder stehen nicht geboten wird.
Über den in der Wohnung vorhandenen Internet Anschluss haben wir uns übers Wetter und die die römischen Busverbindungen informiert.
Ich würde die Wohnung wieder mieten!

This unit had an excellent feel about it and started off our 2 month trip well. We are a small family with two kids 6 & 10 and stayed for a week in Rome.

The apartment had pretty much everything we needed to prepare our meals and get through the week. The owner was excellent and knows the area well and didn't mind letting us know where everything was.

Biggest selling point is the location. We walk a lot and even in winter the apartment was walking distance to everything except maybe the vatican. The Metro was right below the apartment so if you dont walk you can get everywhere,

The lift was something to behold and I would recommend this to anyone and will stay again on our return to Rome.
