Pois / Latchi: Polis is in about 4 km distance. It is a picturesque town that has largely retained its original character. Today about 1,200 Cypriots live together with a motley little people of European tourists, but even at high season, Polis is not overcrowded. Even the Dumont guide says: 'For the whole of Cyprus to Polis: There is no alternative. ' In Polis you find a good selection of tavernas, pubs and restaurants. Most popular meeting place is the traffic-calmed market square with its coffee shops. Of course there are also grocery stores in Polis and a large supermarket, post office, banks, bicycle, motorbike and car rental agencies and excursions. Polis has two hospitals. Polis has a pebble beach of about 3 km length.

Akamas Peninsula: The Akamas peninsula is quite near, a beautiful, expansive national park with extensive, well-marked hiking trails. (A guide is available for use in the apartment). For hiking, we recommend the months March - May. Than the island smells wonderful and blooms! In November you can make lovely walks and swimming is still possible. The sea at time has about 24 °! Beautiful mountain villages are situated along the road; for example the road to Paphos Forest or to the Troodos Mountains. Here there are an infinite number of short and long walks!

Latchi: In Latchi you will find many fish restaurants, tavernas and cafes as well as a water sport center, which offers nearly everything like for example surfboard hire. From here boat trips can be made to the 'Fontana Amorosa'. There is a small selection of shops, banks and bars. For your first crocery shopping we recommend rather the large supermarket in Polis where you can get nearly everything.
