The ski area of Kreischberg is at only 2.5 km (to be reached free of charge with the so called 'Murtalbimmelbahn' (a small train with a warning bell), an open air swimming pool as well as a natural pool are located at a distance of 374 kilometres. You can reach the historic, old part of Murau easily by means of the beautiful cycleway of the Murtal (4 kilometres).
You can reach the very domestic 'Schafferwirt' inn on foot at a distance of only 300 metres.

The new 18 hole/par 72 golf course lies between the county town of Murau and the ski domain of Kreischberg. There are many prominent golf elements on this site: Courses in woodlands, uneven green areas, waters at the sides and in front as well as some spectacular green island miniatures. With its specific, wood designed houses, this site also is a perfect example for the „Wood World of Murau“.
Ski: Fourteen cable railways and ski lifts, 42 kilometres of ski runs for the whole family, the tubing arena, a permanent raceway with chronometry, the speed track with radar chronometry - all this and much more is winter-fun at the Kreischberg!
Ski domain Kreischberg (the second largest ski area in Styria) is only 2 kilometres away. The cableway can be easily to reached by the Murtalbahn-train, without having to use a car. This is free of charge for the holders of a ski pass!
The Kreischberg is a wonderful, snow certain ski area and especially suitable for families. Restaurant, alpine huts, ski schools, trampolines and the tubing course are close to each other on the mountainside.
