Rent, during all the months of the year, 5000m2 rural tourism farm with 4 bed-rooms, fantastic swimming-pool and possibility of riding horses and play golf, in Montebelo Complex (about 15Kms away in direction of Viseu).

It´s also 15Kms away from the river (in the direction of Coimbra): Possibility of doing nautical sports.

Explendid views throw the highest mountain of Portugal (Serra da Estrela).

Possibility of doing agriculture labour and Dão-wine production.

Distances from the major cities:

25Kms from Viseu; 65Kms from Coimbra;

85Kms from Aveiro; 140Kms from Oporto.

Within a 15-minute drive the enthralling old town of historic Viseu where museums, wineries and locally produced crafts are found.

The markets in Tondela (Monday), Viseu (Tuesday) and in many of the surrounding small villages are always colourful and full of bargains.

The university city of Coimbra with outstanding architecture and internationally renowned shops is only 30 minutes away.

Possibility of weddings: The farm has a 375m2 tent that can also be used for weddings or partys (maximum 225persons).

This cost is extra charged and must be booked previously.

Quinta S. Pedro is located in a small village called Tonda in the Beiras region of Central Portugal.

QSP is very near (about 2 kms) from the motorway IP3 that connects Coimbra to Viseu and goes to Vila Real.

Coimbra, Portugal's third largest city, is approx. 30 minutes away by car & offers historic attractions & modern amenities.

The Serra de Estrella mountains, (the highest in Portugal) & national park can be reached in approx. 40 minutes. Snow boarding & skiing can be enjoyed here in the winter months.

Picturesque beaches of the River Mondego are 10/15 minutes away.

Also a stop off at Fatima on the way to Lisbon is a great day out and certainly recommended.

QSP is about 1 hour 20 mins from Oporto airport.

To go from Oporto to Quinta S. Pedro:

* Take the A1 SOUTH towards Lisbon for about 40 mins and at the Aveiro junct take A 25 due EAST sign posted to VISEU.

* After about 30 mins turn off and follow the signs for TONDELA

* After you arrive in TONDELA, you must follow the signs 'Quinta S. Pedro', in Tonda Village.

Quinta S. Pedro is located in a Village called 'Tonda'. We have the privilege to be near (about 300m of distance), to one of the most typical and awarded restaurants of this area 'Os três Pipos'.

You also can find in 'Tondela' (about 2Kms of distance) all the support that you need, like supermarkets, hospitals, pharmacies, banks, and other services...

Golf: You can play golf in Montebelo Golf (about 15Kms away from Quinta S. Pedro).

Quinta S. Pedro was a lovely property, well equipped, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the large pool and the panoramic view of fields and hills from the balcony around it. Pedro's Mum, Maria, who was staying next door, was really friendly and helpful. We had great chats about life in Portugal and in Scotland and we learnt how to pronounce some of the Portuguese words we might need around town. The smell of lemons and other fruits grown on the land around the property was wonderful and Maria shared some of the produce with us. A very memorable holiday. Our son, aged 8 at the time, still talks about it 3 years on!! We would recommend the food at the '3 Pipos' (3 Barrels) restaurant in Tonda.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
