Additional TV with built in DVD in second bedroom for easy use with just one control.
ABSOLUTE OCEANFRONT, GATED: Come and enjoy Paradise in our second home. Beautifully re-decorated, second-floor, corner unit which overlooks the ocean and the world class Kona Country Club Ocean Golf Course's signature hole. The Mountain Course is adjacent. From the lanai you have wonderful unobstructed views of the Kona Coast where you can enjoy watching whales in the winter and dolphin year round.
The Oceanfront Keauhou-Kona Surf and Racquet Club is located in a garden setting on 17 acres with three lighted tennis courts and a swimming pool. There are gas and charcoal grills and an outdoor picnic area.
Our Condo has recently been remodeled and is our second home. The master bedroom has a new KING-size bed overlooking the ocean. The guest bedroom has two twin beds with TV and DVD overlooking the golf course. A spacious dining room is adjacent to the living room. There is a large wrap-around lanai for outside dining and leisure activities where you will experience the best coastal views and sunsets.
Need an extra night before or afterwards. Try a one night or more on the 'other side'. Checkout the Kilauea Lodge , for instance.
We have vacationed in the Kona area many times... we're both retired now and feel fortunate to have been able to purchase this condo and spend more quality time here.

The proximity to Kahalu'u Beach Park for snorkeling, Keauhou Shopping Center for groceries, and access to many casual restaurants close by, make the location ideal for us.
There is nothing like the sound of ocean waves to lull you to sleep at night.
This was our second stay in this condo and we are about to reserve time for our third. We've been vacationing in beautiful, well-located condos in the Keauhou Bay area for more than 30 years and this is by far the most wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully furnished and perfectly equipped. There is an obvious pride of ownership that shows in all of the details. It is well-located for those who plan to see the sights and enjoy the activities on the island, although we have trouble dragging ourselves off the spectacular lanai.
We searched for several weeks and kept coming back to this one on VBRO. It just looked too good to be true, but the more we researched and dug and checked various photo's of the area...well...we took the leap.
Access to the unit was easy and a short (easy) drive from the airport...our first impression was - WOW! look at the beautiful and well kept ground. As we walked to the unit there was the ocean! and the view only got better once we walked in. Not across a street, not across a parking lot, and not even with a grassy area between US and the OCEAN! It was RIGHT THERE.
We ended up spending a lot of time enjoying the deck...dinner, breakfast and just lounging!! The unit was very comfortable and immediately felt like home...and we immediately knew how lucky WE were to have found such a great place to spend the first week of our vacation.
The owners were awesome to work with and took the time to make suggestions. Our trip was in a great part such a success because of them. Thank you Ed and Morgan!
To be honest, we mostly chose this place for the swing on the lanai, and it did not disappoint! We watched every sunset of our stay from that swing! The lanai is as close as you can get to the water and offers a variety of oceanfront views. With the windows open in the master bedroom, you can listen to the waves all night.
The location offers easy access to both Ali'i shops/restaurants and the main highway for other nearby attractions.
The beach equipment available in the condo was perfect for introducing new experiences to our 9-year-old poor landlocked child. There are two great beaches just to the north of the compound: one with calmer water for snorkeling, and the other with bigger surf for great boogie board fun!
This condo is the perfect place to explore the local area while also quietly enjoying the fantastic natural environment of Hawaii island. Highly recommended... and, if given the opportunity, we will come back as this was a favorite of our stay!
You could not ask for a better condo, better views, or better location on the Big Island. Perfect!
Having stayed in several different rental units in the Keauhou area, I must say that this was, by far, the best! The view from the lanai is beautiful and feels very private. The condo was very comfortable, and we made use of the boogie boards and beach mats provided. The Keauhou area is great because it's not in the center of all the touristy hustle bustle. We walked down to Kahalu'U beach park and did some excellent snorkeling. We also drove to South Point/Green Sand Beach, spent a day at Spencer Beach and Hapuna Beach, and had a great time in Kealakekua (highly recommend eating at The Coffee Shack). I had no trouble booking the rental and promptly received my damage deposit back, in full. Thank you so much for your lovely condo! I definitely recommend staying here.
This was our 15th trip to this resort and we have stayed in numerous units over the years. This unit is by far the best we have stayed in. The view is wonderful, you only look at the ocean! We loved breakfast and dinner and got to the point where we did not want to go out to eat when we had the best view at our condo. The unit has everything you need, including the beach equipment we have not always had in the past. How nice not to have to rent a beach chair, umbrella, boogie board or snorkel equipment. We have already booked for next year and look forward to our time there.

Three hundred dollars reserves the unit; the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. We have a one page lease agreement. We accept checks, wire transfers and PayPal (no credit cards). Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed.
