Grandview Villas, St Lucia

We booked a week for 2 couples in Grandview Villa (#1) during March 2009. We were very pleased with everything related to the accommodations. The Austin's are professional, friendly and helpful. The villa was very well laid out, of high quality craftsmanship, well appointed, well kept. There were no surprises, everything met our expectations and then some.
We enjoyed the location very much, it would be hard to think of a better location. For us, to accommodate our desire to roam and wander, a rental car was a must.
Our villa was just a minute off the main road, and only a minute or two from both the hopping Windjammer resort and a lonely, secluded beach.
Shops, restaurants, night life was a five minute drive to the Reduit Beach strip at Rodney Bay. Lots of excellent choices (Big Chef, outstanding, Delirious, also excellent). The city and port of Castries was perhaps a 10 minute drive.
We kept our refigerator stocked with Piton's from a shop just one or two minutes away. We ate most of our breakfasts in the villa, making things simple and inexpensive. Lunch really just depended on where we were and what was available. Fruit, chicken and Piton from roadside stands became a lunchtime staple.
Like chicken wings? Go see Owen at Stranded's bar just up from the villa at the main road.
Don't hesitate to book at Grandview Villa. We'd certainly stay in the same place if returning to St Lucia.
