The Olive Grove is located South of the 'citta' of San Vito dei Normanni

Two ground floor apartments in a pleasant architect-designed private home in the countryside.

CORATINA

Coratina is the principal of the two, having two bedrooms, a bathroom and exceptionally large, open plan, living, dining and kitchen area. Sleeping accommodation is for a maximum of 4 adults, plus two children, or 2 adults with a maximum of 4 children. This makes it an ideal choice for a luxury family holiday.

Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. The bathroom has a full size bath, wash hand basin, toilet, bidet, and a separate shower cubicle.

The living area has two comfortable sofas, digital TV, DVD player, and CD player. There is a large selection of DVD's, CD's and books for our guests to use.

There are two wireless access points for guests to use free of charge, on their smart phone or computer, and computers can be provided for guests who'd rather not pack their own.

FRANTOIO

Frantoio, the one bedroom apartment, sleeps two adults. One child can also be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Although regular-sized it has everything a couple would need for a relaxing holiday.

The compact kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. For those who want to cook there is also sufficient crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils.

The compact bathroom has a wash hand basin, toilet, bidet, and shower. There is a heated towel rail, which is much appreciated for Winter Breaks.

Very nice holiday apartment.

This apartment is very spacious and well furnished and has everything you need for a good holiday. We enjoyed a relaxing two weeks here seeing the sights of Puglia and relaxing by the pool. The pool is the best in any holiday accommodation we have ever rented and is on a par or better than many hotel pools. The grounds of the house are very well kept and shade can always be found around the olive trees.
The hosts are very helpful if you need anything, the gardener kept us supplied with delicious produce from the garden, we had a relaxing holiday and would recommend this apartment.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words Brian. The pool is certainly being enjoyed by our current guests, as the temperatures are in the mid 30's.
"What's it all about Alfie" - at the moment Alfie is crashing out in the coolest places he can find, while being the well behaved, friendly little dog that he is.

Excellent Puglia accommodation.

We enjoyed a relaxing week at Frantoio, the smaller of the two apartments at the beginning of August 2013. The apartment was clean, well-maintained and equipped and the extra touches such as provision of beach towels and the offer of shopping were welcome. The owners, Margaret and David are excellent hosts and Alfie, the resident dog, is a star! During the week the gardener provided two vegetable/fruit boxes which were welcome. The outside areas, including pool are spacious and clean and we know that Margaret and David intend to further enhance them.

As only our second guests *** ever *** in Frantoio (our smaller apartment) we are happy we didn't miss anything major during its preparation, however we are not complacent. We have had a lot of valuable feedback this year from guests in both apartments, and as usual we will be sitting down to consider where we can do even better.

Finding places in Puglia's, narrow, winding roads can be difficult - especially so when it's dark and you are tired after a long journey. 'No problem' with The Olive Grove, as the long main drive joins the totally straight Appian Way North-South. In fact almost the entire quick run from Brindisi Airport is on two segments of the ancient Via Appia. There is no need buy any expensive up-to-date Italy maps for your GPS, as we have made our very successful experiment of making a customized pocket GPS available to guests a permanent feature. This has many local places of interest, restaurants and shopping complexes pre-marked at the real locations by ourselves and previous guests.
