Take a vacation in the state-approved climatic spa of Muenstertal. Enjoy the Southern Black Forest Nature Park in every season by hiking, mountain biking or skiing! Visit the mine 'Teufelsgrund (Devil's ground)' with its climatic health gallery, which gives asthmatics great relief with its clean air. Visit the beekeeping museum in upper Muenstertal which is one of the world's largest! In the outlet shopping center 'Belchencenter' Muenstertal you find cheap deals from renowned brands in the areas of clothing, sporting goods, sweets, wine, bed and bath goods and shoes. Why don't you explore the area without a car? Use the railway 'Muenstertalbahn'! Visit the medieval town of Staufen, which is threatened by increasing cracks due to geothermal activity, or swim in the historic Alemannenbad! Take a trip to the university town of Freiburg with its old town and the Freiburg Cathedral of which it is said that it has the most beautiful tower of Christianity!

Golf: Very nice golf courses can be found in the Southern Black Forest and in the Markgraeflerland! There are very nice tennis courts in Muenstertal and in Staufen, which can be used by visitors for only a small fee. Do you need a tennis partner? Or do you want to book some tennis lessons? Ski: In 15-45 minutes you can get to the various ski resorts at Schauinsland, Belchen, Notschrei and Feldberg. There are 31 ski lifts and 55 km of perfectly prepared ski runs available with just one lift ticket! Cross-country skiers can glide along the southern Black Forest on over 1200 km of well-prepared trails! In 20 minutes you reach the Nordic Center Notschrei, which was newly opened in 2010 and which has already established itself as an international training and competition center for cross-country skiing and biathlon.
